Here's the deal, folks: The New York Times has some damaging goods on John McCain, reportedly involving a female lobbyist. McCain threatened legal action if the Times printed the story. The Times backed off... for now. But you can be sure the Times will unload on McCain if he nails down the GOP nomination...

I thought of Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman.
:D
Ha! Haven’t seen “Billy Jack” in years.
I definitely got that in my McCain post:

Well at least it was a female lobbyist..............
Sexual scandals in this era (especially since the Clinton’s) are OK for liberals and of little consequence for RINOs.
If it’s McCain, he’ll get a positive bump from it. No problem. That’s the way it will be played.
(chuckle)
Funny how McCain doesn’t talk about the 17% he gained in 2000 from the crossover votes in Michigan.
Great points.
I will not vote for John McCain under any circumstances.
Exactly, but it is more than just the MSM. The Democrats and leftist moonbats also know McCain and Huckabee being the most Liberal of the Republican candidates are also the most most likely to keep Republicans at home in November. It is the same reason Fred Thompson is being made to look insignificant, because he is the most conservative and electable.

It’s happening again. With Obama not on the ticket, leaving Hillary a shoe-in in Mich, you can expect it will be higher than 17% this time. I have heard these people calling in on AirAmerica encouraging others to do the same.

We’ll see tonight. Weather isn’t the best there for primary voting, and the lack of energy on the Dems side due to the reason you cite could easily play in Romney’s favor.
Society's demands for moral authority and character increase as the importance of the position increases.
John Adams
I don't see that happening. But a Hillary/McCain ticket is a possibility.
It could happen.
Didn’t Robert Novak make some kind of goofy statement a few weeks ago that the Clintoons had some very damaging info on Obama? Seems I recall a big flap about this...where is the info?? Why did this just seem to disapear??
Don’t bet on the “damaging” info routine...even if it exists it is doubtful it will damage McCain if he’s the mainstream’s guy. Crap...we’ve been hearing about damaging info on the goofy clintons for decades and here’s old hillary a runnin’ for pres.
This deserves to get bumped to the top for the next four days. Lets not forget that this story was released just a few weeks before the Times endorsed McCain.
