Here's the deal, folks: The New York Times has some damaging goods on John McCain, reportedly involving a female lobbyist. McCain threatened legal action if the Times printed the story. The Times backed off... for now. But you can be sure the Times will unload on McCain if he nails down the GOP nomination...

“And today, the Washington Post reports that David Keene of the American Conservative Union “is examining a loan McCain took out to keep his campaign afloat.”
Then, of course, there is his legendary, out-of-control, inexcusable temper. His profanity-laced tirade against the unfailingly decent John Cornyn last year during the immigration debate was something straight out of the Captain Queeg playbook. He was one step short of demanding that Cornyn be court-martialed for swiping the strawberries.
When John McAngry loses his halo, he has nothing left. He will be mincemeat for the liberal Democrats in the fall.” - Quinn Hillyer

Thanks for the link. Absolutely disgusting..

I agree MSM will wait until the last movement. They went ballistic over an ancient Bush DUI, causing a significant drop in the polls. McCain has no loyalty except to himself. It must have been devastating for his wife. BTW, his present wife is not exactly First Lady material.
McCain voting against permanently barring gang members and terrorists from the United States - just one of his many outrageous acts - speaks for itself. How scary if he were in charge of WOT. And what if he went ballistic while in the Oval Office?

Let’s fill in a couple of those “etc”s with Gang of 14, and no tough questioning of captured terrorists.

If there is something to tell, the GOP should get it out there now, and not hope it doesn’t matter to voters when the chips are down.

I once had someone PM me saying that they thought Constantine was a girly name. :D
It's not? Anyway, the only Quinn that comes immediately to my mind is Quinn Buckner.

We prefer McCain because his negatives should guarantee our victory in November:
Old
Angry
Unreliable
Keating Five
Compromised
Guantanamo
John Weaver
Gang of 14
Swift-boats
Immigration
Bush tax cuts
Anti-business
Undercut Iraq War
Campaign finance
Free speech limits
Global boondoggles
Embryonic stem cells
Kerry VP material
Media darling
Unelectable

I think it’s probably BS, or else we would already know about it. Nothing remains secret in this day and age.

Nothing remains secret in this day and age.
Except Kewwy's service records.

To: TheLawyerFormerlyKnownAsAl
Well, I was referring to scandal-type secrets, not confidential records, but Kerry’s service records actually did get out after the election. I don’t know if he finally released them or if somebody got a hold of them some other way.
