For that, I cannot forgive him.

So now we have your man, Senator Casey, representing Pennsylvania! Brilliant -- Congratulations.

Rush isn’t going to endorse anyone, but he will criticize those he thinks deserve it.

I am not a Huck fan but I thought Carl's question was below the belt.

However, Huck got a low ball and drove it out of the park.

I will say this except for one exception there is not one Republican candidate that isn’t better by a good old country mile than any thing the Democrats have for candidates.

Human Life Amendment and the fact that he doesn’t seem to have any enthusiasm for the pro-life cause. I get the feeling that it is not really a terribly important issue in his book.

I believe you are in error on that - He is strongly against abortion - but he's also strongly for the Constitution and the Freedoms of States Rights.

He doesn't believe the Federal Gov't has any right making these decisions in our lives - that these decisions are OURS to make, in our states and the Fed. Gov't needs to butt out.

If we don't get back our States Rights, the Reids, pelosis, clintons, etc, are going to be ruling our lives, our actions, in our homes and personal lives in every application.

Good grief, they've already mandated what king of toilets we will have and now are mandated what kind of light bulbs we'll be allowed to have, forcing us to use only the Mercury Vapor laden CFL bulbs by 2012.

Fred will take the illegal power over our lives out of Washington and give it back to us.

We are adults. We have the right to make decisions for our lives in our States.

This is being taken away from us...and the schools don't even teach these rights anymore so many dont' realize that Washington has no Constitutional right to make these decisions for us.

We are already deep into Socialism - on the brink of Communism.

We get back our decision making RIGHTS now - or they are forever gone.

We can't cherry pick which 'rights' Washington should be allowed to make in our lives and which not. We need to demand our Rights at a state level...and then grow up and take the responsibility to exercise those rights and decisions. FREDeralism NOW

I really hope I'm wrong, but that's what I fear too.

Well I am having some problem figuring out all the angles here. I am sure McCain and Huck are buddy buddies, trying to eliminate Mitt and doing a good job BTW. So when Fred ate up Huck tonight I was surprised, since I think McCain and Fred are allies too. Thing is, Fred really laid bare the preacher so I don't think it was contrived. Scratch my head.

Guess the Republicans better get spines and stand tall on principle....looks like that’d be the better position to maintain, than party over principle and get voted out.

Santorum has himself to thank for that.

“Why on earth is he even ON the republican ticket?”

‘Cause some Rep needed a model to pose for a drawing of a Moonbat

“Fred’s looking out for fred, not Mitt.

Tell Mitt to fight his own battles.”

uhhh . . . . McCain is in the same race for the nomination as Fred, isn’t he? It isn’t McCain vs. Mitt. If McCain wins, Fred loses. What’s with this, anyway? Is there something we don’t know about?

Great answer by Huckabee in re Marriage. Also regards Israel. Although I liked Ron Paul's comments about Israel too -- that is we must treat Israel like a adult and let it make its own decisions.

Thompson often looked like just another cranky geezer in attacking Huckabee. Especially with McCain there amplifying the cranky geezer theme.

Romney’s success in business, above reproach personal life and public record are incredible conservative credentials.

Public record? IMHO everything Fred said about Huckster could be applied to your boy too...just saying.

If pointing out the difference between your stance on things compared to the other guys is an attack, then yes he’s “throwing grenades”. Sadly it isn’t, it’s called asserting yourself. Fox has gone out of their way to try and ignore him in favor of McCain, Romney, and the Huckster. I guess you’d rather have him stand there speechless and not take the others to task especially your beloved Huckster.

Huckabee is fine in a band. We do not like Huckabee’s RECORD and flip-flops and prevarication. Like the ‘we made the ad and I withdrew it gambit’. And then showed the ad to reporters who taped and played it.

Glad to hear that re Dennis Miller. I missed his show tonight, usually have it on, must tune in tomorrow. Dennis is sharp.

Out of the loop today, so missed the debate.
A quick scan of the thread here shows McCain and Huckabee did not answer the questions asked, as usual.

Good to know talk radio is exposing those two for what they are. It’s amazing how many do not know the dirt on McCain.

There once was a Senator McCain,
Who fancied a POTUS campaign,
Though his quotes were more regal,
His votes for illegal,
Earned him the name McInsane.

There once was a mayor named Guliani,
Who never was good with the blarney,
While saving New York from terrorist sport,
Told a Saud to kiss his sweet hiny.

There lived in upper crust Mass,
A governor who gave a free pass,
To liberal ideas, like marriage for queers,
n’ Gave us all a pain in the ass.

There once lived a preacher named Huck,
Who let the illegals run amok,
While raising state taxes, a most liberal practice,
His constituents cried: “What the f***?”

At least we can agree on that....Schaivo was murdered for a political agenda...

And when the election came around, the most Republican county in Florida put that sleaze judge back on the bench...disgusting...

I like Fred a lot, but don’t make me unleash on his downside. It won’t be pretty. The guy is the Republican equivalent of a Charlie Wilson.

I think HUCK won this one, although ALL did very well. It was truly a fine battle of ideas and ideals. The DEMs can’t touch us for substance and ability to argue ideas and ideals.
