Fred didn’t say anything “horrible” about the Schiavo tragedy. It is a personal issue for Fred and he made that clear.

Rush does lean toward Fred, I think, even if he hasn't said so outright.

I hate to say this, but everything I have seen of Fred suggests that he is just a stalking horse for McCain. It's what I expect to and if he does it will break my heart because I can't stand McCain. But I think Fred worked with McCain a lot in Congress and will endorse him.

Right ... drive up to your local
restaurant, and try to filter
the smut out of their cooking
grease and see how far your car
will go on it.
Global geo-politics is a delicate
pursuit.
Until the libs in Congress decide
we can build more refineries and
drill in ANWR, much as we disavow
what the Saudis represent, we have
a need for basic and economic survival,
I think.
The day of reckoning may be coming soon.

If we allow the dems to choose our candidate then we deserve what we get.

I agree with that part - where I disagree with Fred is his opposition to the Human Life Amendment and the fact that he doesnt seem to have any enthusiasm for the pro-life cause. I get the feeling that it is not really a terribly important issue in his book.
Maybe because he's not a one issue candidate? Just a thought. Do you want a well rounded candidate or a Tancedo (one issue candidate)?
I'm just dumbfounded that he's ON THE RIGHT SIDE on the issue, but he's not right enough for you?
Why don't you just come out and say you want an anti-abortion activist for president? Just being anti-abortion isn't good enough?

Because it’s over for him. He woke up one day and decided to run for President. Like it or not, Running for President requires years of building an organization and raising funds. Him failing to deliver his message to the GOP tells me he would make a lousy President.

Fred a filp-flopper? Hmm.
To: Scarchin
LOL, Andy Levy on RedEye summed it up for me as “Congressman Paul, totally with ya on the domestic policy, can’t get with you on the foreign policy.” Something like that.

That’s my one knock on Jeb....I started becoming very disillusioned with the entire Bush family over Terri Schiavo.

Fred by far won, Rudy came in second, IMO. I could easily see us all later understanding that the strategy of the late start (in both Rudy & Fred’s case) makes sense.

Like I have said before, don’t quit your day job. There is a whole other reason FDT has no interest in McCain.
And there are still smoke filled rooms, they are just not as smokey and have a higher class of catering...

I hope you’re feeling better about our prospects after tonight’s debate. I know I’ll sleep a little better!

Well, you cannot suspend the laws of the Economics Gondring, and we have the Demographic/Social Security time bomb ticking.
Eventually it will reach the point were there is no more money to use to buy votes with.
