I’m disappointed to see many FReepers agreeing to vote for whoever the liberals tell them to vote for, whether it’s McCain or some other liberal. Shame.

So, McCain gets the nomination, only liberals voted for him? And they were telling us how to vote? Hillary is Satan. No one else comes close to her in evil.

If Hillary were a Republican with her same agenda and McCain were a Democrat with his same agenda

Who would you vote for?

The answer is all over this disgusting thread - it’s ‘go team go!’

What's the dif? I see little, except the letter which comes after their names.

No I’m sorry but what you just wrote is nonsense. Although those candidates are at best suspect on the border issue, that does not mean their other stands on national defense are unimportant. They are vitally important. The dems are wrong on every one of those issues. Further, the candidates you listed at least are now saying they will secure the border. The dems are the exact opposite.

It is beyond me why conservatives rail on and on about the evils of electing the wrong republican, as if there is no democrat running, as if the alternative will not be the democrat. Conservatives in essence saying they will elect Obama or Hilary is crazy.

My only explanation is these conservatives are egocentric they are barely aware of the democrats.

I was just reading where Bush is going to have 4,000 PA gunmen protecting him. I immediately thought of Bhutto standing up through the sun roof.

It blows my mind... I have been attacked on Free Republic because I am too Conservative and will not vote for a liberal. Can you believe it? Unreal.

What an idiotic statement. The beginning of this thread asked if McCain were the nominee would you vote for him? You had to spout your little temper tantrum and essentially say, "If the Republicans don't select someone I agree 100% with, I will either not vote or vote for a third party. The entire purpose of the thread was to see how many would vote for the person they most dislike instead of pure evil.

I did not see anyone attack you for being too conservative. Instead I think most are astounded that you think your individual likes are more important than anyones. The republicans don't go out and select the candidates. The candidates choose to run.

I would never vote for McCain/Huckabee/Rudy. If they win, it means we have one party - a party that promotes amnesty and open borders. Just think what perks for illegal aliens and amnesty means - rewarding breaking the law, promoting hordes to overrun this country, turning this country into a 3rd World country, sticking it to the law-abiding taxpayers, draining our dwindling non-renewable resources, etc.

I will vote 3rd party before I vote for anyone who supports the surrender of this country. McCain/Huckabee/Rudy have gone too far.

What's the dif?

Four to eight years of a liberal republican will cause Americans to become complicit with the new definition of a republican. By the next election Rudy will be seen by the American people as we see Barry Goldwater today.

Better to let the democrat be the Party On The Left.

blah blah blah. All I can say is grow up. We don’t just live in a world in which you stop people from getting elected because they disappointed you on your pet issue. We live in a real world, with real people, both parties have a candidate selection process and when you stay home to punish your party, the other party takes control of your country, in other words of your life and that of your family. And that other party believes in exactly the opposite of what you believe in.

On a rare occasion, I’ve said briefly I would not vote republican again. But a mature person counts to ten slowly, gets over it, and doesnt elect Hilary Rodham Clinton.

Deal with it.Did you vote in your (once was red, but now blue) home state. Did you do any campaigng agains your junior senator? Or, did you just sit and complain. Your one vote won't matter in your blue state anyway.

I have been here a lot longer than you, n00b Well, congratulations!

You were boasting of your own tenure here.

I have come to the conclusion you really don't know anything about politics.
