The UN can say we signed what ever deal with the devil, but if our people want out, we’d opt out and do it IMO.

Of course the UN are going to make it a minor gesture to get in, but that only goes well as long as the people of the United States are happy.

Have we opted out of the U.N. that is basicly sworn to take us down, ruling against our interest all the time? We’re not opting out of anything. Bush letting the situation fester should let you know what he thinks of joining the ICC. He didn’t lift a finger to stop it, and our Congress was mute on the subject.

It’s not a treaty. It’s a general agreement. The Senate doesn’t have to rule on it.
