Think Fred Barnes ‘lost it’ a while ago. Several months ago, Fred implied that those who were against ILLEGAL immigration were actually against all immigration and they’re probably racists. Gee, Fred have you heard about the laws of the U.S. and how people should abide by our laws??
Fred needs to retire or be retired.

Amen, brother. I’d write in my dog’s name before I’d vote for McTraitor. At least my dog has the sense of loyalty to keep illegal aliens out of my home!

So in Iowa, Mitt was Mr. Conservative. In New Hampshire, Mitt fliped to Mr. Change. What’s he going to be in South Carolina? Mr. Dixie?

Hey, "Mr. Change" worked for Obama...so with Romney saying "change" about 20 times in NH appearances...gee, I can't figure why that formula worked for Obama but not Mitt. Can you?

As for Dixie, he's workin' on his southern accent at the very moment. (And he'll emphasize he's from the southern part of Massachussetts & grew up in the southern part of Michigan & that his ancestor, Parley P. Pratt, picked up his "dozeneth" wife in Arkansas while on an LDS missionary trip...of course, that just got Parley P. killed by her angry husband...as she was still married to the Southern guy)

GO FRED!

With Fred's super solid rock-ribbed FR hardcore-approved conservative record, he's sitting at 1-percent?????

Now THERE'S a real confidence builder, dontcha think?

Do you got a Plan B?

(for the record, I really like and respect Fred Thompson. Unfortunately, he just doesn't have the stamina and drive to campaign and win the US Presidency, followed by four long tough years in office.

And 99% of the Republican voters obviously can see that. (Dem is da cold hard facts, I'm afraid)

Mc Kennedy is Mr. Amnesty. He is horrible. I will never vote for his sorry borderless butt. This party better get it in gear quick or we have us a Democrap big time with coat tails.

It looks like they are. Who would have ever thought McShamnesty would surge back to win NH? Then you have guys like Duncan who can barely manage to get 1%. What the heck is happening to America?

That’s nice that you think that your interpretation of conservatism is the only measure of a conservative, but reality is otherwise. Fred Thompson is certainly a conservative, but he is not the only top tier conservative in the race by any measure.

It will be VERY HARD for me to vote for McCain...especially, since I AM NOT HIS FRIEND! Why doesn’t his staff tell him to stop that phony ‘my friends’ bit. I’ll vote for the Rep candidate since any of the Dems would be worse....but, man, I’ll have to hold my nose if it’s McCain.

Where was all this energy in the debates. I saw him in the debate other night looking off in la-la land. He was listless and totally unengaged. I have never seen this jacked up energy you speak of with Fred Thompson.

And don’t misunderstand...he is my guy. But he’s giving this aura that he really could care less about winning, he could take or leave it.

“If Romney loses Michigan and drops out, who gets his voters?”

Me, that’s who. I’m running hard and won’t give up until the White House silverware is all mine!

I am NOT a McCain supporter.

That said, I find your remarks offensive.

John McCain may not agree with you on the issues, but you owe him respect. He is a certifiable American hero. In my book, he has earned the right to represent his beliefs without cheap shots from you.

If you’re too young or too ignorant to know his background, look it up. Or just click here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_McCain and scroll down to “Prisoner of War.”

Unless you can match his service to this country, please be more polite or just shut up.

Let’s discuss caucuses and vote counts and candidates with more class from now on, OK?

They may not be. But calling someone “exposed” because they don’t support Hunter or Fred, both of whom have very little support or chance of winning, that seems like a bit of a stretch. I love Fred, and like McCain, but that doesn’t mean that I slander those who support other candidates. The whole atmosphere of “support Hunter or Fred or you’re a liberal” really doesn’t help engender unity or love for the candidates. Just a humble observation, but, by merely listening to the supporters on FR threads, I’d not like him at all.

Just my two cents. Go Fred, McCain, and, ultimately, anyone but Paul or Huck.

And just an observation concerning McCain’s victory speech. I’m amazed that people can get worked up at such a non-inspirational, non-charismatic prepared speech.
