Yup there you go...the late strategy...

Freds playing it too but so far Rudy’s is very active..

We’ll see, it’s hasn’t worked as well for Romney early, makes me wonder how well it will work late...

Really, if Rudy takes Florida, NY, NJ and California, Fred takes Texas and the south...and this thing goes all the way to convention....hmmmmmm

There you go! More testimony....Rudy is playing that late game hard...and he’s getting to do it unchallenged so far...

For all his drawbacks....he does have some political saavy...

If he pull s it off they’ll say he’s a genius...well, whoever devised the strategy...but if it doesn’t...

Reminds me of fottball coaches making a critical call during the game...if it works their a hero, if not....goat!...LOL

At least Fred is palying the same game but I think at this point Rudy is better financed from having the lead in tha national polls...

I parsed that sentence three ways and didn't find a denial in it. If you're not Rush, Roger Clemens should have hired you. If you are Rush, it still might have been worth your hourly rate.

At least no one is accusing me of being Merri Wood or Edward Littwak Marwick or George Metesky (points for FReeper who can tell me what these have in common). Oh, and Claudia Christian.

Dress, no dress...there's a boat load of miltary bases round here and if he's the one that's not going to sell out the troops and what they've fighting for...so be it.

Let's hope it doesn't come to that and Fred catches fire to give him a run...

Even though Rudy is running commercials unopposed here the only other signs I've seen in my neck of Florida are FRED THOMPSON signs...the two candidates playing the late game...if Fred catches fire in SC...and Huckabee gets exposed for what he really is....Fred could have a chance to catch fire here in the central and northern parts...Rudy will be very tough down south...Central is always the battle ground and Rudy does have the edge here at the moment...the youngin's believe he can defeat the Beast as you may have heard during interviews in that sham debate CNN did....

I think NH needs an audit of their Sec of State or County operations. Take a look at some of these numbers:

http://www.sos.nh.gov/presprim2004/

The total vote counts are close to what you posted. I added them up and came up with 287,411. But the SOS reports (from the link) that only 221,309 ballots were cast. And “Names on Checklist” (Registered Voters) shows a total of 715,967.

No, he won’t be done, but he’ll be hurting like Mitt is now...then Fred has to really go for Texas...

Fred and Rudy could play the late game because they cam in with national name recognition...Mitt didn’t have that...he had to do well early, and he’s only done so so...given the amount of money spent for so so and heading into terrotry where Fred and Rudy have strength the prognosis isn’t as good for Mitt...He’s “slick” and he’ll spin it rahter well I suspect but I think it’s going to be attrition that does him in...a string of non-victories is not going to do it. The more he doesn’t win, the more the perception is reinforced he can’t win.

If Fred does well starting in SC and on Super Tuesday he’s poised for a battle of biblical proportions with Rudy...LOL

What a difference 24 hours make. We were all posting to a thread that Hillary may drop out of the race and all I heard from pundits were questions how she could possibly pull this out once she loses NH as she's done.

I know... what a roller coaster this has been - on both sides. Onto South Carolina I guess...

Isn’t it amazing how many seem to be under the impression there’s a popularity contest going on....there’s no politics going on here...just people wanting to be on the winning team regardless...at least it seems that way...:/

Coming off two wins for the GOP, I would not be so pessimistic. We live in a very divided time. This election will likely be razor close again regardless of who the candidates are. You think HRC or BO’B are going to win the south? It comes down to the same 10 or so states as last time. They are from blue states so they have to work to peel off states that we won just 4 years ago.

I hope you're right. Once again we in the blue states will have to hope the red states are strong enough to bale us out. It's so depressing to see New Hampshire, which was once (not so long ago) our only New England red state go so rapidly to purple then to deep blue. I worry this may be happening in other states, ie Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico...

LOL...anybody would be better...don’t pretend both the Huckster and Fred are at a disadvantage there...McCain has bitten the dust there repeatedly, they don’t like him accept it.

I’m with you. Our troops deserve more than a gitmo-closing McCain, a moron Huckubus, or a Mass lib. I will support the Mass lib if he gets the nomination, but not the other two. Rudy and Fred would be the best for our troops and country.

It’s about doing it for the troops, in drag or not.

Anyway, I’ve seen the pic...neither here nor there for me...I’ve seen straight men dressed like that in Tampa for Gasparilla and in New Orleans for Mardi Gras...

No dying in vain. No wars for nothing. The time is too critical in the WoT.

Mitt was shown as unelectable in Iowa. Deal with it. On top of the lying, and flip-flopping Mitt has done, he’s the victim of the anti-mormon-cult bigots....

He sealed his own fate, imo, when he decided he would adopt Obamas campaign strategy.

As Karl Rove says about Hillary, HE is a fatally flawed candidate.

He’s done, he CANNOT win.

Super Tuesday is going to change the field. All this talk isn’t going to change anything til then methinks.

There’s a rumor of a stategy for Fred *at* the Convention should it go that far...

This all might not be steeled until the Convention...or that “something’s gotta give” is going to come into play and make things clearer for us.

“At least no one is accusing me of being Merri Wood or Edward Littwak Marwick or George Metesky (points for FReeper who can tell me what these have in common). Oh, and Claudia Christian.”

Metesky was the Mad Bomber of NY City but he planted no bombs during WW II; Luttwik wrote Luttwak, Edward. “Strategy: The Logic of War and Peace (1987)” and other books, and Merri-Wood Taylor wrote an episode for Combat..common themes: organizational insecurity.

Actually I think it’s the more we find out about Mitt and the Huckster the more we get “Mad as hell and we’re not going totake it anymore!”...:)

Mitt will carry on, but he’s done. He cannot overcome the bigoted votes aginst him on the religious front and the social mis-steps on the other front.

Republican John Kerry.

Fatally flawed candidate.

But I’m not going to pester you about giving up on him the way you people are relentless on pestering and blaming us for your candidates sub-par performances.
