Well if the general is McCain v. Clinton the whole electorate will die from boredom after listening to their speeches for a few months.
You left out Obama shooting himself in the foot saying no more criminalizing politics. I doubt that made the Moveons and Code Pinkers very happy.
His speech afterwards seems to indicate he already realizes his mistake. He played the “lie to go to war” card.
