On the Republican side, Sen. John McCain is 4 percentage points ahead of Mitt Romney.

The surveys of 776 New Hampshire residents who are "likely" to vote in the Republican primary and 778 New Hampshire residents who are "likely" to vote in the Democratic primary were all completed after the news from Thursday's Iowa caucuses had been reported.

The rundowns:

Not really. Sen. Klinton has all the superdelegates who will see to it that she gets the votes.

I’m not for Mitt, but howinthehell is this possible? McCain is nuts! Are the local voters even nuttier?

McCain's been running in NH for 12 years. That's how it happened.

That said, I hope he crushes Flip Romney. This guy needs to lose. He's the media's candidate--and those who've drunk the Romney Kool-aide.

No conservative should even think about voting for Flip.

ok...speculation time...If Obama or even Edwards win the dim nomination but lose the general could HR Clinton do another run in 2012?

The media gift wrapped 8 years of Clinton/Gore and 6 years of Clinton in the Senate......now the media is not carrying her water. She will turn to selling books, like Al, and trying to be chief of the World Health Organization.

She will, essentially, out of our lives.

President Howard Dean had the superdelegates before the primaries too.

His administration has been going well, don’t you think?

I would really be enjoying this except this Obama surge worries me as far as the general election. Don’t the polls show him running ahead of any republicans he is matched against?

She has more superdelegates.

Superdelegates do what the STATE party wants them to do, adn are selected on the basis that they will support that state’s preferred candidate. It is an insurance policy to prevent a catastrophe like a Ralph Nader suddenly coming from out of nowhere with a strong but relatively small loyal following (sound like anyone else we know?) and distorting the mainstream picture.

A) I am not so sure Obama’s support is so far out of the mainstream Democrat party or that his following is small.

B) The assumption that Hillary would be the choice of the state party apparatus’s, is not one that I would accept.

Anyone who thinks Obama has a chance in a general election hasn’t seen the web site for the church to which he belongs:

http://www.trumpetmag.com/home.cfm

There is a gold mine of information there to use against him.

>>>>The Swift Vets have zero research on Obama, for the excellent reason that they stood down as an organization in early 2005. The leftists claim every time a former donor to the group hiccups, that it’s a “Swift boat” operation, but that simply isn’t true. The Swift Vets were formed for a single purpose, which they accomplished with great effectiveness and courage.

But the men who put the money behind them, the organizational people, the idea guys, the media guys, the Amerikanisher Kameradenwerk, we are all here.

That's the "magazine" for the church -- the church's actual website is here: http://www.tucc.org/home.htm. There was discussion here about a year ago regarding the "black values" listed on the site . . . .

Good Morning KOF,
It apppears Obama belongs to a black only(separate) church. After persusing the church’s mission, staff and other data it appears there are not any “Honkeys” in the wood-pile.

The church is “Pro Africa” and I highly question the members/staff and pastors loyalty to America.

Anyone who travels with Calypso Louie “ain’t up to any good.”

Respectfully,
NSNR

I am pretty sure Kerry had the great majority of superdelegates during primaries, despite Comrade Dean’s surge in the polls.

True, but those people aren't the Swift Vets. Also, that organization was run by the veterans, not by their consultants. I just want to correct the idea that the Swift Vets themselves are taking any part in current political activities. If you'd like to know the details of what they did in 2004, click here.

We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian... Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain “true to our native land,” the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black Community.

The Pastor as well as the membership of Trinity United Church of Christ is committed to a 10-point Vision:

A congregation committed to ADORATION.
A congregation preaching SALVATION.
A congregation actively seeking RECONCILIATION.
A congregation with a non-negotiable COMMITMENT TO AFRICA.
A congregation committed to BIBLICAL EDUCATION.
A congregation committed to CULTURAL EDUCATION.
A congregation committed to the HISTORICAL EDUCATION OF AFRICAN PEOPLE IN DIASPORA.
A congregation committed to LIBERATION.
A congregation committed to RESTORATION.
A congregation working towards ECONOMIC PARITY.

They’re scrubbing the net.
All the ‘black’ stuff has been removed

Yes - I’ve seen his church website and OBAMA is a FLAT OUT RACIST! I just called his campaign and they confirmed he goes to that church and they say there is nothing wrong with its racist agenda and that their commitment is to AFRICA not the United States! How can we have a President who’s 1st allegiance is to ANOTHER country!

Also, check out this and you’ll see how racist they are http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=59887

For all you Hilary bashers - I wish you would give some of your attention to Obama bashing because HE is the scary one!
