Stephen Coughlin, the Pentagon specialist on Islamic law and Islamist extremism, has been fired from his position on the military's Joint Staff. The action followed a report in this space last week revealing opposition to his work for the military by pro-Muslim officials within the office of Deputy Defense Secretary Gordon England. Mr. Coughlin was notified this week that his contract with the Joint Staff will end in March, effectively halting the career of one of the U.S. government's most important figures in analyzing the nature of extremism and ultimately preparing to wage ideological war against it. It’s the only thing Muslims understand, but one of the problems is that Americans simply don’t react to things that way. We go to war reluctantly, and we respond firmly to provocation only after it has reached a point that cannot be ignored. This is not a bad trait, but the question is whether, if we wait until that point with Islam, it won’t be too late. The time to stop it would be now (no more Muslim immigration, expulsion of non-native Muslims and surveillance of native-born Muslims, for example), but we all know we’re not going to do that.

We won't do much until we see them convertins groups of gullible Americans to Islam, and then sending them out into the streets to strike terror into Jews who speak up against them.

In Germany the population stood quietly by, were terrorized by the Nazi movement, and then became mesmerized by Hitlers diatribes and messages of social ascendance of German peoles. In America the message will be the ascendant power of Allah to bring order and peace into the neigborhoods of our poor and disadvantaged, cleaning up drugs and gangs through actions of the faithful. No story could play better to the liberal bleeding hearts as our freedom drains away.

But when they start thumpoing on Jews, American will awaken, and there will be a counter fascist movement , the likes of which our nation has never seen.

Egad. How could it be any worse if the Dems were in charge? Sperry: Right. Well some of them have sold us out. Case agents I talked to say they can't trust these guys. They say some have tipped off targets of terror investigations, while others are holding back key information from case agents they're working with—who are completely at their mercy because they don't speak Arabic and these other tongues. The Muslim translators are claiming the information is "NOT PERTINENT" to their investigations when in fact it is. They've also had a problem with laptops with classified al-Qaida information disappearing from that translation unit at FBI's Washington field office. It's a mess there, a veritable Muslim "mole house," as one bureau source put it. Some devout Muslims in the unit have gotten so cocky they're actually demanding separate potties from the "infidel" agents so they won't get dirty sitting on the same toilets. Others go around the language squad saying America had 9/11 coming to it because of our pro-Israel policies. It's outrageous, it's flat-out betrayal, and these are the people who are supposed to be protecting us from another 9/11.

Believe me...it would get alot worse. Remember that alot of these clowns are Clintoon holdovers doing the PC dance around Pentagon lawyers and CAIR. This PC stuff didn’t just happen overnight. Decades of democrat/liberal control of our institutions of ‘higher learning’, government bureaucracies and the media have brought this about.

It will be hard to change when at least half of our population really buys into this garbage, ie, the democrats/liberals, and 98.9% of our population are indoctrinated with it in our schools and on their TV sets!!

Mr. Coughlin wrote a memorandum several months ago based on documents made public in a federal trial in Dallas that revealed a covert plan by the Muslim Brotherhood, an Egyptian-origin Islamist extremist group, to subvert the United States using front groups. Members of one of the identified front groups, the Islamic Society of North America, has been hosted by Mr. England at the Pentagon.

After word of the confrontation between Mr. Coughlin and Mr. Islam was made public, support for Mr. Coughlin skyrocketed among those in and out of government who feared the worst, namely that pro-Muslim officials in the Pentagon were after Mr. Coughlin’s scalp, and that his departure would be a major setback for the Pentagon’s struggling efforts to develop a war of ideas against extremism. Blogs lit up with hundreds of postings, some suggesting that Mr. England’s office is “penetrated” by the enemy in the war on terrorism.
