Chuck's doing OK. His stomach hurts every now and then from the medications he is taking for his pneumonia but he seems to be up and at 'em.

I think the flu or something must be going around here as I see some people are on sick leave.
Guess I’ll have to double up on my green tea and vitamins.
The flu is to be taken seriously. Especially since there are so many resistant strains nowadays.

Yeah Luvy, I have no appetite.
Never been hungry yet. I’ve forgotten to eat 3 different times now and when that happens I get a burp from an empty tummy feeling. So, then I eat right away.
Still only eating 2 ounces at each meal. Next week I will increase to 3 ounces at every meal (3x day).
And about courage...I didn’t know I could go through it either, but I knew to save my life and to have a life, I had to. So, God helped me through it. :)

Police Involved Shooting On Maryland Highway

OXON HILL, Md. (WUSA) - Police in multiple jurisdictions are investigating a series of incidents that resulted in a police involved shooting.

It appears the two incidents this morning - one in Prince Georges county and one in Fairfax County are directly related.
Police tell 9NEWS NOW this began in the 7am hour, with a team of alleged car thieves working in the Oxon Hill area.
Prince George’s police say the alleged thieves were snatching cars that were being warmed up on a cold morning by drivers who left the engine running and went back inside.
Police say the sedan involved in the PG highway incident had been reported stolen at about 7:30am, after it was taken from a location near Indian Head Highway and Livingston Road.
Police spotted the stolen car a short time later on Indian Head Highway and attempted to make a stop, but the driver of the stolen car evaded police, and as he fled, hit some other cars, and the vehicle wound up disabled in the traffic lanes.
A police officer confronted the driver in stolen car, but that suspect escaped, ran over the roadway barrier got into another vehicle described as a black SUV (that is a suspected accomplice vehicle, and may also have been stolen.) The suspect the jumped into the drivers side of the SUV, and police say as he escaped made an attempt to run down the officer, and the officer fired shots at him.
The stolen SUV vehicle disappeared, but Prince George’s County Police believe that same vehicle later showed up in a motel parking lot along Route 1 in the Alexandria area of Fairfax county Va.
Fairfax County Police say one of the suspects that arrived at the motel has been flown to Fairfax INOVA Hospital for his injuries. A second person located with that vehicle at the motel is being questioned as an accomplice to the alleged car thief.
This incident remains under investigation.
