If you have the time these two interviews with Laurie Mylroie on Charlie Rose PBS program are very interesting. When Bill Clinton's name is brought up in the 2002 video Charlie Rose gets very uncomfortable? wonder why.
Compare and contrast the statements of Laurie Mylroie before and after 9/11.

Laurie Mylroie earned her doctorate in Government from Harvard University, with a specialization in the Middle East. She also studied Arabic in Egypt, at the American University in Cairo, and has traveled extensively in the Middle East.
Dr. Mylroie taught in the Department of Government at Harvard as an Assistant Professor, and later became an Associate Professor in the Strategy Department of the U.S. Naval War College. Doctor Mylroie is very friendly with the FR community.
Doctor Mylroie has a link to FR JVeritas work, and FR Ikez78 website “Regime of Terror” along with my video Salman Pak: Saddam’s Al Qaeda Connection. She is very good about responding to email.
Here is a list of her articles and interviews

BUMP!
I think the overarching lesson I’ve taken from her, Woolsey and others is that rogue nations will use cutout groups like al Qaeda, Hezbollah, etc., to do their bidding—and of course they would gladly give such groups nukes if they had them, not just passports and safe transit and bases of operation. This is the reality we face when contemplating a Saddam or Kim Jong Il or the mullahs in Iran. But until this is the starting point for the discussion here in the US, well, I don’t think we’ll get very far toward the goal of winning. In fact, given the state of the electoral process right now, I would think we’re about to start losing this war—again.
I just changed from dial up to DSL and now I can get videos. It costs more but it’s well worth it.
I’m very happy for you. I don’t have that choice. Where I live (in the country far from any city) dial-up is all that is available.
That’s too bad. I got so tired of my dial up. Its odd that you can’t do that but maybe soon?
Bump!
Yes, via al-Qaeda cells in the Philippines.
There's a reason the US was quick to execute McVeigh and shut Nichols up.
That was clintoos deal...OKCB...and TWA800...cover up so he'd not have to deal with the country/countries that trained and financed terrorist to attack America.
As Doctor Mylroie has stated in the video “Bin Laden provided the terrorism and the radical following while Saddam provided the intelligence.”
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/gunning/interviews/mylroie.html
quote from Doctor Mylroie PBS Gunning For Saddam
“Is your opinion that bin Laden basically was the front man for Saddam Hussein?
Bin Laden and Saddam are working together; they’re both in it together. But between Iraqi intelligence and Al Qaeda, the far more important party is Iraqi intelligence. Bin Laden also worked with Sudanese intelligence. That came out in the trial for the 1998 embassy bombing. Bin Laden works with the Taliban. He’s not as important as we think. He does not work independently of a state, of a government. But because we have not seen the links, or perhaps not wanted to see the links between Osama bin Laden and various governments, we ourselves have attributed to him capabilities that he alone does not possess.”
I agree. And the WOT won’t be won until there is regime change in Iran.
And the Sheeple sleep on.........
bookmark.
A lot of the Sheeple are satisfied with that sadly.
Good mention re: Able Danger. That project followed from the army’s LIWA data mining system, which I actually covered as a reporter in the 1990s, in fact back to the late 1980s. The people involved in Able Danger were absolutely ignored and even vilified — yet they are about as standup as you can get. Able Danger and similar efforts have been- and are so successful that the Dems and MSM have essentially tried to outlaw them. It’s pathetic and, indeed, criminal. Tancredo was one of the few people on the Hill to stand up for that sort of thing, and I would have probably honored him with a primary vote just for it. Fortunately there is a way that Able Danger-like systems can always be brought to bear no matter what the “fools on the Hill” decide.
Fox News post of Able Danger letter when Weldon tried to present info to the 9/11 Commission.
Pete Hoekstra was energized at the time but ran into many roadblocks.

Yep. I remember reading all the Weldon stuff even before it was published in Govt Sec News. The MSM and Dems DESTROYED the guy for going public. Shows you how bad they want to undercut the war effort.
