For year's the Mormon Tabernacle Choir was on the T.V. Not so this year.
Hi from Indonesia, good golly looks like you are all set. Metro TV had the Mormon choir on and I sit in Connecticut and could not find it- well that says something.

Wardaddy makes a great point. Our children will never know how good Christmas used to be 40 years ago. Even 30 yrs ago or 20 yrs ago. The times have changed so much and it says a lot about our culture now. It does sadden me alittle that even words are taken out of context, holidays are argued about, people are just too analytical.
Thank you all for helping me to find the choir, I will remember for next year. Unless PBS decides it is too controversial.

Yes and it was a great performance.
They were on one of the local PBS stations (Wash D.C.) on Christmas morning (After midnight. I keep vampire hours due to working midshift for the last several years). Sandy Patti was with them.
I watched it several times--again. It reminds me of "the good old days" --the school room, the Christmas tree lot, the parade, the cars, and their clothes. Everybody I knew had to wash their mouth out with soap!
I really knew a kid who shot his sister's eye out with a BB gun.
It was the best of times.

Go to www.byu.tv and set the date to Christmas Day and Christmas Eve. You’ll find more Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas programs than you can handle.
Thanks for your reply. I am in CT and from what I learned on this thread PBS did have the Mormon Choir. However I am envious of your report. Sandy Patty wow it must have been wonderful- although she has been dead for year’s (I think). I can remember when Kathy Lee Gifford was on the Regis in the morning show on ABC, she was a friend of Sandy Patty and she announced her death.
Thinking you saw a repeat performance, doesn’t matter, I would have taken a repeat.
Your getting your Sandi Pattys mixed up. Sandy Patty the gospel/CCM singer is very much alive. She’s the one who I saw singing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
