A jet passenger remembers seeing Rudolph W. Giuliani on a Dallas-to-New York flight. Heading home after a March 2005 speech, Giuliani perused a volume of Elizabethan literature.
Miles above Pennsylvania, a door-seal suddenly cracked. As the cabin depressurized, the pilot nose-dived from 38,000 feet to a safer 9,000. Oxygen masks swung above the heads of horrified travelers.
What did Giuliani do? As another, visibly rattled traveler recalled: "He put his mask over his face, picked the book back up, and kept reading Shakespeare." ...

“I guess that means that I have the leadership to be President too, right?”
Sure .. if you’ve also prosecuted the Gotti’s (or any other crime family), served in the Reagan DOJ, taken on the fully Democratic City Council, unions and buraucracy of the country’s largest city*** to clean up a swamp, cleared porno from your downtown, and driven your city’s crime rate down by more than half. Then, by all means, go for it!
*** the population of New York City is larger than 39 states and more than twice the #2 city.
Perhaps it was the psych profile of Rudy's dad that he was referring to:
Harold Giuliani, alias Joseph Starrett: ... A study of this individual's makeup reveals that he is a personality deviate of the aggressive, egocentric type. This aggressivity is pathological in nature and has shown itself time to time even as far back as his childhood. He is egocentric to an extent where he has failed to consider the feelings and rights of others.Like father, like son!
I loathe McCain. That said, my distaste for McCain does not even approach my utter disdain for Giuliani. No one can match Giuliani in the "demoralizing" category.
Gov Palin says she has no intent of leaving her present office to run for higher office not even a Giuliani/Palin08 ticket.
Oh dear. I’m afraid you are correct. Pathological aggression does tend to be hereditary. Aggressive behavior and egocentric tendencies are common in antisocial personality disorder (APD) cases.
As of today Rudy is still the front-runner.
Many of those are found in government.
Good point
Did you write that with a straight face?
That's not even a LOL line around here.
Been away?
FYI: Rudy can't win the general.
You can't win this.
Apparently you were supposed to lead her gently to a chair, and go get her a cup of tea, and then sit and talk about it for about three hours, and all the while holding the child in your arms.
That may seem a bit extreme, but it might have worked.
FYI: Rudy can't win the general election.
I gotta be honest with you . . . in all the times I've read the U.S. Constitution I've managed to completely overlook that part of it.
. . . and filled with snarky allegations that Rudy has a lisp, is effeminate and limp-wristed . . .
The "lisp" part isn't an allegation -- it's true. And while he may not seem effeminate and limp-wristed to you, I can say without any hesitation that the guy is a freaking weirdo. Take that for whatever it's worth.
BTW, Rudys father was a boxer, so I doubt he is as effeminate as you claim.
His father also worked as a strong-arm for the Mafia. You sure you wanna go there?
Hes dropping in the polls.."
Could be connected.
Well, hey, did you know that he was Mayor of New York during 9/11?
I read those 12 points, and although tey sound good on the face of it, they all seem to point to larger, more intrusive Federal government, and higher taxes.
Then, there is duplicity factor:
"..the collection is a lot less convincing than it might seem."
