Eight people have been charged with faking voter registration forms in St. Louis city and county in 2006, federal authorities announced today.
The federal indictments were unsealed this morning. Some of the accused have not been arrested yet, so their names are being withheld.
The eight people were employed as voter registration recruiters by ACORN, the not-for-profit Assoication of Community Organizations for Reform Now. ACORN ran a voter registration drive for the general election in November 2006.

The article doesn’t state the political affiliation, so I’m going to have to assume it’s the Democrats.
Doesn’t sound like you understand how this works...
Democrats register a bunch of bogus “people” (pets, dead people, mickey mouse, etc), and they have that list of registered “voters”.
Then, they get a busload of paid voters and go on a magical mystery voting bus tour, telling them as they exit at each polling place, “here’s your name for this polling location”.
Then, without voter ID, the polling places let them vote as whoever they say they are.
Corzine hold a voter registration drive?
::rimshot::
Did you hear Clinton offered Corzine a position in her administration?

They won’t get any time. Probably “community service”, as in, registering voters.
LOL! From their point of view, there isn't a problem -- as long as it's all in their favor!
Headline should read 200,000 dems charged with voter fraud in St Louis.
Didn’t Edwards recently receive an ACORN endorsement?
Morals are relative and the ends justifies the means to liberals. So what if you have to lie, cheat and kill to make socialism happen, it’s “for the children” and the resulting utopia will be wonderful. Really.
Conspiracy to commit widespread vote fraud should be a capital offense. It undermines everything this nation was founded upon.
“Doesnt sound like you understand how this works...”
I quite understand how it’s supposed to work! My question still stands, I’d like to know how many of these fraudulent registrations turned into fraudulent votes? We have definitive evidence of the fraudulent registrations, but, evidently, none concerning the actual voting. I’d like to know! That would make the case far more substantial in the eyes of the public. You and I both know dems cheat whenever possible, but a lot of people have no clue! I’d like to have that evidence to shove in their face and shout, “See! A thousand fake registrations in Milwaukee County! And 950 of those fake people voted! And they all voted for Kerry!” That’s what I’d like to have!
He was also in the military. It seems there is a large amount of information that is hard to find on him.
If the justice dept. was an honest agent for social responsibility they would bring a RICO case against ACORN for the multiple actions and CONVICTIONS of it’s various member groups. It is no accident that the same organization is found guilty in dozens of cases - unless the leadership has given them directions to cheat the system.
They’d whine that like illegal immigration, they are unable to handle the prosecution of all violators.
We’ll never know for sure exactly who they voted for. Unless there are only 100 people in the district, 200 people vote in the district, and 100% of them vote (D).
There are roughly some examples like that (over 100% participation and an overwhelming support for one party).
Unless they arrange for the person to vote by absentee ballot, with a campaign worker making sure they vote the "correct" way before mailing the ballot in for them
“Unless they arrange for the person to vote by absentee ballot, “
Now, that’s a very good point! Can we track absentee ballots? Or requests for absentee ballots? If so, a simple comparison of the requests and the fraudulent registrations might be very interesting. And would at least answer part of my question.
