Holiday Party??? Good Lord!! What Holiday are we talking about? St Patricks Day? Halloween??And there it is. Only four posts!
"Tony" - first, please note the DATE of party. Then consider that there are Freepers in the tri-state area who are - gasp - JEWISH! Imagine!
So yes, it covers more than one holiday.
Ponder.

The presents are for the traditional raffle. People give aways books etc.
Indeed January 6th is Epiphany in the West, as I would have pointed out to TonyWpi, had I remembered the name of the holiday. Of course, Eastern Christmas is not until the 8th.
Of course, I'm Jewish so neither are really my thing, regardless of the Julain or Gregorian calendar. We have many more holdays, scheduled using an insanely complicated calendar.

Thank you for the ping, firebrand!
Can you please change it to the following week?
LOL!
Oh, how I wish I could be there!
This is the day I’m having the girls and their significant others here for “Christmas.”
Everyone’s doing their own thing for December 25th, so
we’ve arranged to be together on January 6th!
firebrand and other FReepers....have a wonderful time!

January 6th, the Feast of the Three Kings and the 12th (and final) day of the Christmas Season is also the anniversary of my grandparents. Were they still alive, they would have been married 62 years.

No holiday trips out to the Left Coast for us this year, so - weather-permitting - we will be there! Thanks for arranging this fun gathering once again, firebrand. :o)
We're really looking forward to catching up with some old FRiends...
