I just said last night. These are the times that try men’s souls. There is much going on in my life that caused this statement but when my son called and told be he got in to an accident I almost cried. No one hurt, the parking lot was sheer ice and he slid into a car.
Life is difficult but sometimes more than others.
Though you cannot see the outcome,
Trust the LordHe knows whats best;
Be assured He sees your trial,
And Hes with you in your test. Hess
For the Christian, testing cannot be separated from trusting.
I hate your son had the accident. It would hurt me if either of my sons had an accident. We went through a few fender benders when they were in high school and I suppose most everyone who raised boys may have experienced this. I always thank the Lord no one is hurt. It could always be worse. I know girls have car wrecks too because my granddaughter totaled one on pure ice and it scared her absolutely to death.
My son’s good friend was killed during high school in a car accident. Three came out with just cuts and scratches but this sweet 16 year old was thrown from the car and died. It nearly killed us all. He had spent a lot of time at our house. My son happened not to be with them that evening. Praise the Lord.
My daughter had a similar accident when in high school..No one injured ..just the car and the pocketbook.(((HUGS)))
(((HUGS))) for Rus and family...Scary, that ice accident, but so glad your son is okay. Prayers for trying times.
Thank God your Son was not Injured, Mr. Mayor; Thank you, our Lord of Loving Grace!
