I think it’s more about the odds of 1 (or more) in 1000 people in any population being unstable nutjobs and when you get 5-8 thousand, your chances are considerably higher.
If you really want to know what was happening, you might want to read post #80. The police at the VT shootings were NOT cowering.
There is an old adage that no one over the age of 18 should have hair longer than shoulder length and that hair should be cut progressively shorter as a woman ages. The reason is that long hair tends to “pull down” the face, making a woman look older. Also, long hair takes a lot of work, and when a woman acquires a husband and children, something has to go. Sometimes it’s long hair. That said, methinks I hear a major tone of bitterness in your statement. What short-haired woman hurt you so badly, that you have to apply such a sinister motive to all women?
BTW, the information in my post came from the official state panel investigation, which you could have easily read if you bothered.
Not so much the “warrior DNA” but the obvious value system that she’d pass on to children in her care would be invaluable to society.
When people are sad about being infertile, I always offer this: Adopt - it’s much more important to pass on your values than your genes.
I wonder if she’s ever been married and may have kids. I haven’t read either way. I agree - this woman needs to breed!
That was my first thought...I've seen a lot of women at the shooting range and I can tell which ones shoot because they are dedicated and interested and the ladies that are mostly there because their boyfriends or husbands drug them along.
I saw an interview with Ms. Assam and she comes across as a very level-headed no nonsense lady.
“I havent read either way. I agree - this woman needs to breed!”
She’s 42. Getting a little late.
LOL, good for you. Unfortunately, many on FR treat it as if women should be married and have a child by age 22!!!! Serious! Sometimes being 27 isn’t good enough for them! (Man, was I way behind the curve - almost as bad as this woman!)
Yes, unfortunately, in this PC euphemistic age, “single” often means “just not married right now”. As in divorced, widowed.
I hate the bastardization of terminology to make 1self look better.
I hope she will be strong too.
Ditto on that!
Lloyd227, I am a 45 year old happily married woman with the same super-long hair I had the day I married my husband.

Yes, but not a goner.
Go ahead. MAKE MY DAY! The Avenging Angel. WOW!
Jeez - I didn't think it was possible to post less romantically than me around here...
The verse I referred to defines God’s house. It isn’t a discipline or a security issue. It defines one’s communion with God wherever he may be; at church, home, wherever.
At church, one should not feel the need for security.
Once again, and I might of understated it later, Jeanne Assam , was where she was suppose to be. If her life had been altered in a different direction, she might not of been in that spot at the right time. Destiny fufilled.
