COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — At least four people were shot outside of a Colorado Springs church on Sunday, but it was not immediately known whether the shootings were related to an earlier shooting about 70 miles away, authorities said.
INDEED.
Certainly my own parents messed up royally in a list of ways.
But they had a hard life. And their parents more or less did the best they knew how, too. My parents basically had a good heart and more or less did the best they knew, too.
HOWEVER, for Christians, at some point, there’s no excuse. Most parents that screw up IGNORE THE SCRIPTURE: PROVOKE NOT your children to wrath.
DISCIPLINE—especially harsh, out-of-touch-emotionally discipline—WITHOUT SUFFICIENT CLOSE RELATIONSHIP will virtually always result in REBELLION. That’s not a hard concept. Parents more or less instinctively know that.
But they don’t think in those terms. And most don’t know what else to do but yell louder or hit harder.
And maybe worse, THEY DO NOT PERSIST *SUFFICIENTLY* in searching for better solutions. There are tons of good books out now. But even James Dobson’s classic DARE TO DISCIPLINE is a good start.
HOW TO RAISE THINKING KIDS is another—though I think the video may be all that’s available, now.

they FELT LOVED by their parents.
All else fails by comparison.
Many parents get into ego driven, insecurity driven battles of the will over nothing. That communicates to the kids that parents pride is more important than the kid. That’s very destructive.
But I’m not eager to blame, per se. I’m interested in fixing what’s broken and moving on.
The parents in this situation have more hellish trauma in their laps, minds and hearts than they’ll work through in several lifetimes worth of prayer and pondering.
However, they may as well learn and help others to learn from their tragedy.
At the end of the movie Camelot . . . The king asks Merlin what can be done for being sad. Merlin says that the only thing for being sad is to learn something.
Let all of us learn something and help those around us to learn to be better parents, friends, family, surrogate big brothers and sisters [informatlly—not that org] . . .
Your construction on reality, is not mine.
You seem to think that you have defined my behavior and motives fully and accurately. You have not.
I doubt there’s much I can say that would influence you to think otherwise.
Certainly you are not likely to convine me of things I know to be untrue, for me.
Hint—I have plenty of attention in several spheres of my life. That’s never been difficult—kind of goes with the territory of being a bird of rare plumage.
But, hey, if your life is so bleak that being all wound up over someone’s ALL CAPS is what gives you a dopamine thrill for the day—BE MY GUEST.
But that sounds kind of silly and sad, to me.

At least a good portion of the YWAMMERS I know would have scheduled some deliverance sessions to deal with the demonic problem ASAP.

I wasn’t there. Evidently there were reasons that didn’t happen. But why?
If you are going to post that way, please don’t post to ALL. It’s ridiculous to try to read and I for one don’t have the patience or desire to do it.
It’s not an outlandish assumption. A lot of similar bits of evidence seem to be true in this case.
It remains to be seen whether it will prove out, or not.
I don’t know if he was on meds or not. But it’s not a far fetched speculation.
But people need to know it’s a speculation.
Yes, the meds are helpful to millions.
But it’s a mixed bag.
And folks need to be aware of the flags on the play.
Nightmare child says a lot, doesn’t it.
Especially with the YWAMmer’s input from sleeping in the next bunk . . .
Demonic voices can become very . . . troublesome.
Especially for folks already several points down from ATTACHMENT DISORDER dynamics.

Just seemed logical, from my observations, work . . . strict religious parents . . . isolated, lonely, hurting, angry . . . social isolate . . . homosexuality just seemed like a very probable component. Now we have the seductive demonic stuff in rock music thrown in . . . a witches brew for violence, for sure.
Wanting to fit in . . . into the pseudo family of YWAM . . . and being rejected there—perhaps a last hope of rescue from the dark abyss he had sunken into . . . had to trip something inside of him.

IF his parents and home growing up were Pentecostal/Charismatic and strict . . .
the dynamics could be intense.
1. Guilt over homosexual feelings exacerbated by a possibly workaholic dad who was likely at least toooo emotionally distant to help the son really reach out and overcome successfully . . .
2. Not able/willing to measure up in terms of the reference group’s spirituality . . .
3. Not experiencing God’s confirmation—in part because of anger and rebellion born out of the distance between self and dad . . .
4. At some point gets his emotional, sexual energies tweaked by rock music . . .
5. Gets into the “voices” . . . demonic forces flooding in through rock and various other channels . . .
6. Increasingly feels distant from childhood primary reference group . . . is rejected by the YWAM org group he may have TRIED significantly to fit into . . . staff may have not known how to handle him and let him slip through the cracks without high enough ranking; trained enough; discerning enough staff being alert enough and taking the problems serious enough to get the kid the deliverance or whatever other treatments he needed . . .
7. The anger that’s been there from childhood is now tweaked on several levels and dimensions by
A) inner psychodynamics
B) social isolation forces
C) demonic forces
D) possibly drug influences
. . .
What an “accident” waiting to happen!

Do you have any summary about any more of the YWAM interactions?
CAVEAT: I’m not saying that your parents cannot do anything to screw up your life while you’re a kid. No. What I’m saying is that, depending on your parents’ failings, you will be “dealt a hand” in life, so to speak - a hand that you’ll have to play from. And some of us will start off with a great hand and others with a poor one. But where we go from there is up to us. Yes some kids who got a much better head start than the rest of us will have an easier time to advance to the next level. But those who start off far behind don’t have to just sit there and never move off of square one, just because that’s where their parents dumped them and left them. Think of the parable of the Talents.

I also am pondering . . .
It is CERTAIN that the demonized NWO folks are extremely hostile to Pentecostal/Charismatic Christianity.
As Scripture indicates . . . so much of “Christianity” is
“A FORM OF GODLINESS DENYING THE POWER THEREOF.”
But Pentecostalism/Charismania teaches and practices that God still performs miracles today. And, Holy Spirit often READS FOLKS MAIL by Holy Spirit.
In other words, such a Christian might EXPOSE the elite’s doings by knowledge supernaturally provided by Holy Spirit.
They can’t stand that.
Neutered philosophical watered down Christianity doesn’t threaten them. They can even be allies with that, to a point.
But Pentecostalism/Charismania IN HEALTHY FORM is a BIG threat.
I don’t know that the NWO folks had anything specifically focused to do with this kid . . . but their support of rock music and the values he got sucked into still implicates their complicity.
And, it is interesting . . . he targeted the same groups the NWO folks most hate in the whole Christian sphere.
Probably coincidence but still fascinating.

Not surprised he resisted persistently. That makes helping him very, very PROBLEMATIC. One would have to be able to certify in court that he was an IMMINENT DANGER TO HIMSELF OR OTHERS to forcably “help” him. And there’s no guarantee that a hospitalization would help him in many cases.
Not surprised he was on an anti-depressant.
GETTING OFF THE ANTIDEPRESSANTS CAN BE A VERY CRITICAL TIME IN TERMS OF VIOLENCE POTENTIAL.
SOMEONE SHOULD have been monitoring him closely in terms of his compliance with actually taking the drug.

I don’t know that the number reaching out to him . . . was the critical issue—it’s the persistence AND ABILITY TO EITHER SEDUCE HIM INTO A HELPING PROCESS OR CORNER HIM IN WAYS HE CAN’T WIGGLE OUT OF.
THAT’S VERY, VERY, VERY DIFFICULT TO DO—especially if he’s at all bright and/or demonized.

As seen . . . someone responded understandingly . . . but did anyone ring a bell that this guy was seriously, SERIOUSLY self-destructive . . . even fantasizing about cutting one’s self is serious enough. If he was regularly cutting himself—as was likelyl—MANY should have been noticing and ringing a LOUD alarm bell.
Alas, many folks may see such things and just not think through clearly what to do or how important it is to INSURE that help ensues.
About what I’d expected in terms of his ideations, social experiences, perspectives etc.
