It was a cold winters evening. The guests had all left. OLeary had closed the bar.

The honor roll was chilled, mighty thin and included only:
Chief
Lurker Bill
Trooprally (Mr & Mrs)
kburi formerly known as Lurker George,
Ron G. Kirby (GOE)
.
Pasquale
and
Coby from Veterans for Freedom
Four lefty losers froze their butts carrying their signs Home Now, Bring them Home Now, a sign with an illegible screed and one person who carried the American Flag.
They also had lit three candles so that officially made their gathering a vigil.
Grace, Courtney and Paul, three students from Bullis School who volunteer Fridays from 6 to 8:30 PM at Mologne House, stopped to satisfy their curiosity about who and why we were outside the Main Gate of WRAMC every Friday night. They feared that people dont seem to care and they said it was nice that we were present. They also wanted to know if they could join us. They wanted to do more to demonstrate their support. I told them they would have to dress warmer (Grace was in sandals). They promised theyd be back next Friday with their own signs. Although Graces dad thinks shes crazy, I think shes terrific.
BillF likes to relate the fact that wounded heros have told him they really appreciate our presence. Others have told of troops stopping by to shake hands and thank us. These anecdotes are a blatant attempt to encourage you to come out and show your support. But nothing we can do or say is going to make that happen. Either you are going to do it or your not. Certainly Ive found reasons to skip out and I live just down the road. Its not easy and now the weather will be against us. So stay home or not; there is no try, only do.
It will be alright, the Trooprallys will be there even though they have a loved one in the Baltimore VA hospital, counter demonstrate against the Olney Quackers on Saturdays, volunteer at the American Legion and Montgomery General Hospital. Lucker Bill has got you covered; so its OK. Our wounded heroes will understand that you have stuff to do. All I ask is that you keep our military in your prayers, after all theyre securing that right for you.

BufordPs BIG LIST OF ALL WRAMC FReeps
Thanks!! So true!! It was only supposed to be a simple 1/2 hour procedure... almost lasted two hours!!
Oh, BTW - they tell you about not taking aspirin or ibuprofen... also don’t take Vitamin E!! That also thins your blood - learned that the hard way!
Thanks for all your efforts this week and for posting the after-action report and photos. See you on Friday.
FReep On!
PDG AAR, JVB!! (Enough acronyms for ya?)
National readership ping to this week's outstanding AAR from Jimmy Valentine's Brother!
FReepmail me to be added to / deleted from this once-weekly ping list.
Those of you who have stood at the corners at WRAMC for so many weeks,so many months, so many years have my utmost respect and support. Living mid country and not being able to be with you all more often is PAINFUL! I’m always thankful for the opportunity to stand with so many true Americans and TRUE supporters of our military. Thoughts, prayers and thanks with you EVERY week.
Great job all of you and thank you, all.
May God bless the DC Freepers (and all Freepers) who did this.
You all are driven of course to stay the course. May the good Lord continue to bless your efforts, and the spirits and bodies of those willing to perform these tender services in behalf of our military that serve in harms way.
So, why were they so far from the reservation?
teehee hehehehe
Me so funny

Thank You.
I am so sorry to be far away at this time.
Hope you’re recovering well! I never knew about Vitamin E being a blood thinner but discovered, after numberous huge bruises that chondrotin (as in glucosomine - chondrotin) is chemically related to heprin, a blood thinner. But you’re too young to even know what that arthritis medicine is. . . . My apologies for bad spelling BTW
I’ll echo the appreciation extended to the stalwart defenders of the gates! Truly, thank you all for your steadfast support of the troops!
Buuump!
God bless you all. I truly wish I lived closer and could join in this support activity!
God Bless you for standing for our military against the pinkos. I will be there this Friday.
A BIG bump for DC Chapter!!!
BTTT
Thanks, Joy. Unfortunately, I’m not too young to know about arthritis - although have not been officially diagnosed. I also usually take glucosamine chondroitin, but didn’t know that that also thins the blood. Luckily though, I haven’t taken that since I’ve been sick.
Another great effort into the history books! Congratulations!
Best wishes to the Trooprallys’ relative on a speedy recovery!
Keep up the great work!
