Are you going to vote in the November 2008 election no matter who wins the Republican primary?

Posted on 11/25/2007 5:29:03 PM PST by cradle of freedom

I would like to know if you are going to vote in the November 2008 election even if your candidate does not win. Will you stay home if you don't like the Republican candidate?

Another thing that I have often wondered about is whether people actually stay home when they are disheartened. News commentators often say that some voters may have decided to stay home because they were not happy with the candidates. I think that is a mistake because even if you do not like the person at the top of the ticket you should at least vote for the other candidates. Have you every actually stayed home and not gone to the polls at all because you were not happy with a candidate?

Hillary is a socialist. None of the Republicans are socialists.

We’ll end up with hillary if you try for the third party. I already did that; and, as I said, I won’t Perot this nation again.

The next time, I guess it will be you instead of me who causes a clinton to be elected.

I would vote for any current Republican candidate as opposed to what the Democrat Party will throw against the wall. This is not to say that I believe their policy positions have equal merit.

If the party nominates a conservative that UNITES the Party,,,and ENERGIZES the base--we WILL turn out enthusiastically and in force.

If the Party nominates a LIBERAL that divides the Party and splits it wide open,,,,while demoralizing the base (you know who I an referring to),,,,,enjoy Hillary.

Are you calling Rudy a liar?

If its a LIBERAL RUNOFF--I could care less. As I said earlier,,,,liberal Republicans are much more dangerous than liberal democrats,,,,

because liberal Republicans BLUR THE DISTINCTION between conservatism and liberalism...

MAKING LIBERALISM MUCH MORE ACCEPTABLE.

Every person makes a difference. I wouldn’t be a conservative if I didn’t believe that.

I appreciate the qualification that you added.

My Catholic family members have voted Dem for over 50 years, I wonder if they know what they’re voting for.

No more than my 87 year old mother who is an F.D.R. democrat.

I no longer discus politics with her. She brings up the subject and I change the subject. It's not nice to get angry at one's elderly mother.

I’ll not vote for either Giuliani or Romney, who are both proven usurpers of our 2nd Amendment RIGHT. I’ll write in someone if need be.

Aye. Allowing Hillary to win is a betrayal to our armed forces. Personal reasons must be set aside, no matter how difficult that may be.

Okay, how is electing Hillary not going to make liberalism more acceptable?

She has told us that she has so many ideas that we can’t afford them. Do you believe that public dissent will be tolerated once she’s in office and starts taxing us out of business?
