Apparently only if you are a Dim. I left Seattle last December. While it is probably the most beautiful place I've ever lived in, the politics were insane.
I'm glad to be out in flyover country, and even more glad that my son has been out of school for years. There is no way I could send him to a public school, especially in Seattle, with the PC/tree hugger crap that's been going on for the past 10 years or so.
In the end, it wasn’t the politicians that killed America; It was the “educators”.
But, I guess liberals can go after even the nicest of traditions and try to destroy them. It's like they have search and destroy radar to root out any American who is feeling good about themselves or their country.

Nope, wish I were. Salazar (D) Colo sponsored the Stolen Valor Act. It was whitewashed with the noble idea of protecting the integrity of US medal recipients. Everybody’s for that right? I’m a combat veteran, I’m all for that. Few things are worse than someone who claims the laurels rightfully won by another in combat. But laws already existed that make fraudulently wearing and claiming to be the recipient of various US medals a federal crime. The SVA takes it further making it illegal to transfer ownership of any US medals including medals issued to the recipients. The wording includes ANY US medal, decoration, or badge. The way the Law is currently worded, a Medal of Honor recipient can’t give the medal to his kids without making them felons. My wife can’t go to a manufacturer and purchase a medal that her dad earned in Korea (that had been lost and needed to be replaced) without becoming a felon.
I found a WW2 Purple Heart and Bronze Star at an estate sale several years ago. They were going into the land fill if nobody wanted them according to the liquidation staff. They even had the guy’s name on their backs. I had to buy them just because I had respect for the awards and didn’t want them lost to history ( I still have them BTW. I researched him and found out the guy was a KIA with the 10th Mountain Division in Italy). I couldn’t do that today thanks to the SVA. I suspect its true intent is to begin to deny the American people references their heritage and uniqueness. Can’t be unique and be a good Bolshevik ya know. Some have already tried and continue to try. Before it was even sent to the President for signature. The Orders and Medals Society of America, The Orders and Medals Research Society, The American Numismatics Association to name a few. It all fell on deaf ears. The good Congressmen can’t admit to a “badly worded Law” so they ignore any petitions. The Dems actually spearheaded this turkey...they wanted to show that they were “pro military”. The Republicans were too stupied to see any of the side effects of the Law and many actually supported it.
Congress is fracking useless 9-tenths of the time.

Marxism is our nation´s most important and serious threat. Our K-12 schools and universities are their most important weapon. We can survive a nuclear suitcase bomb but we will not survive if the Marxists succeed in indoctrinating the next generation of voters.
This “Thanksgiving is a time of mourning” indoctrination comes from the Marxists controlling and directing the Seattle schools. And,,,,They have plenty of very stupid Useful Idiots ( misnamed “teachers” ) of moderate to low intellectual ability to help them.
We are in a philosophical civil war and those of us who love freedom will lose this war unless we start calling the enemy what it is: Marxism.
I grew up in Massachusetts and remember the Gay Heads having a protest parade on Thanksgiving in Plymouth.

Personally, I think GWB is doing everything he possibly can to elect Hillary. The two motivations are (1)his sorry legacy is going to look sterling compared to hers and (2)Brother Jeb will have a good shot at the White House after she really screws things up. That is, if we still have a country.
