I had a childhood sweetheart who was a redhead, not fairskinned with freckles, but with dark tanned skin, and incredible legs! I was in fifth grade at the time, and she was really cute. I remember thinking about her the other day- I wonder what she looks like now.

Between what hair I got left and the sun its red on top all the time... Red beard too though thats showing signs of turning another less spectacular color... Sadly, in this last year mine is also fading into gray. The head, of course, on this Irish lass.

Someone told me that there were a lot of redheads in Denmark and Sweden, more so than blonds. Maybe it's a Viking Thing...

Hey... welcome!
I am married to a redhead.
The smartest thing I've ever done.

Ive passed along whatever redhead genes I could to my sons There is hope for those who crave women with red hair.
Just saw the Nova episode 'Ghost in Your Genes' about a new field called 'epigenetics'.
It is astonishing that what you eat or breathe can modify your genes that are subsequently passed on to descendents !

You know, I thought that I had seen that Carrot Top had "bulked up," but thought, "Nahhhhh... He's probably wearing one of those 'Galhager body suits.'" Wow! Was I wrong! I saw him on an episode of Gene Simmons Family Jewels, and that's really him. Sort of freaks me out, and gives me the creeps, all at the same time.
"I truly hope that we don't loose our redheads. Please, redheads, go forth and multiply."
Just the wimmin folk, please...

Red beard too though thats showing signs of turning another less spectacular color...Interesting, I've got dark brown hair, but my beard has dark red/brown color, though now it's about 1/3 gray. Nobody in my family has any red hair. And no, when I was conceived and born, we lived in a high rise apartment building in Yonkers, NY, with no postman or milk man who did deliveries to the 12th floor!

Don’t have a picture to provide, but Deborah Kerr, who just died, had glorious red hair. I rented “The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp,” in commemoration of her death. It was the movie that made her a star. There she is, age 21, playing three different women in the life of Clive Candy, radiating beauty and intelligence and flaming red-hair in glorious technicolour. Then, of course, we have her ten-years later making out with Burt Lancaster on the beach(and off-screen) in “From Here to Eternity.”

“As Lucille Ball, herself a redhead, said: “Once in his life, every man is entitled to fall madly in love with a gorgeous redhead.”
I did, and next June we will be married 30 years. And she gave birth to a red-headed daughter to carry on the tradition. I feel for my son-in-law, but, really, two redheads in the same house!

Whenever I see a redheaded child, I remark, LOOK at that BEAUTIFUL child. Redheads really are gorgeous.
My son is engaged to a redhead, so it will be interesting to see if we have that recessive gene on our side. I hope so.
