It was the movie that made her a star. There she is, age 21, playing three different women in the life of Clive Candy, radiating beauty and intelligence and flaming red-hair in glorious technicolour.Then, of course, we have her ten-years later making out with Burt Lancaster on the beach(and off-screen) in “From Here to Eternity.”
