Bellmead, TX - Damarcus Blackwell's four-year-old son was lining-up to get on the bus after school last month, when he was accused of rubbing his face in the chest of a female employee.
The principal of La Vega Primary School sent a letter to the Blackwells that said the pre-kindergartener demonstrated "inappropriate physical behavior interpreted as sexual contact and/or sexual harassment."
Blackwell says it's ridiculous that the aide would misread a hug from a four-year-old.
Blackwell wrote to administrators demanding that the whole incident be expunged from his son?s academic file because his son is too young to know what it means to act sexually.
David Davis, the executive director of the Advocacy Center in Waco tends to agree with Blackwell. He says assuming the boy has not had sexual encounters, or been inappropriately exposed to pornography, most four-year-olds are sexually innocent.
Blackwell got a response from the La Vega administration. The sexual references on the discipline referral were removed. But the thing that makes Blackwell most upset is they told him "your request for an apology by the aide and removal of all paperwork regarding this incident is denied." Now the young student's file will refer to the incident as "inappropriate physical contact."
And Blackwell says he will continue to fight the district.

Do you suppose that is one of the backhanded things that liberals are trying to accomplish by teaching very young children about sex and sexuality? If they teach them about it, they can claim that they know better and make ridiculous charges like the one in this story.
Geez, this country is going down the dumper in a big hurry.
EXACTLY!
This wins an Orwell Award.
This happened in December 2006???
One of my daughters suffered some angst about whether or not she should send her 3-year-old little girl to a pre-school/daycare. Many other parents she knew were doing it.
I assured her that her daughter was exactly where she should be at her age...home with her mother. End of problem.
While my kid’s are grown and on their own now (mostly,LOL) this was never a problem when they were young. Both of them hugged their teachers at that age. What is wrong with people?
It seems odd to me that she would say something. I admit that I would be uncomfortable if a young child put his head in my chest, but I certainly wouldn’t charge the child with sexual harrasment. He’s a little kid giving me a hug that doesn’t know any better. I suppose there is always a possibility that he has been exposed to sex at a young age; perhaps he heard his father, a relative, or friends make comments about breasts or saw something on tv. We live in such a sexualized culture that it wouldn’t surprise me. His father sounds like a good man based on this article, and more than likely this hug was completely innocent.
Morons! The kid was just wiping his nose.
Needs to sue.
I envision the day when the act of shaking hands will be deemed inappropriate.
They should look for a good lawyer.
I just sent this...

One word for you...
Idiot.

I made it short and sweet...
“if i were Blackwell, i would educate my son myself... if possible...”
If I were Blackwell, who would be me? Who would want to?
So the 4 year old was motorboating? Damn this kids been abused, or this aid has issues.
He can put bucket on her head, grub the handle and lift himself up...:-)))
“I envision the day when the act of shaking hands will be deemed inappropriate.”
It almost is now, germs and all that. Our society is crumbling. Think I will look for a deserted tropical island and move there. Start my own country and invite all my un-pc freeper friends over.
How effing stupid could this public employeee be, interpreting a hug from a four year old as a sexual advance? Oh, it was a male child; had it been a little girl it would have been OK with the lezzbo....

It's not that you personally object to a kid's hug; rather the threats created by the mind-warped advocates of political correctness. Am I right?
The majority of people who work with kids today don't want to risk a lawsuit or job loss over a hug. As long as people with some common sense keep quiet, the crazies will rule.
Or, about four feet tall!
LOL Chances are you're right. He wouldn't be the first!
