If you live in Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, or Iowa, take a drive this Saturday and show your "support for the troops and their mission" let the troops know America cares!!! Bring your family and your American Flags and all the true patriotic Americans you know....Come by car, by bus , by train...and oh yea by MOTORCYCLE! We all can drive for a few hours for our TROOPS! BE THERE FOR THEM!
Face down the left wing facist, Code Pink and A.N.S.W.E.R. and other anti american socialist groups...who are tearing down the morale of our Military, our sons and daughters and grandchildren who are now in harm's way FOR US!

The Chicago Police Dept has designated the Southeast Corner of Dearborn & Adams (Federal Plaza) to those of us who would like to come out to SUPPORT OUR TROOPS. Barricades will be setup. Folks must enter on the EAST side from Adams Street. Streets will be closed off starting at 6am, Parking will be available EAST of State Street or a Parking Garage.
Bring your Families, your Friends and your Flags. Let's show our Troops the Great City of Chicago Supports Their Service and Sacrifice!

I wish I’d known you were planning this further in advance, but unfortunately I’ve got another engagement booked at the time of planned rally.
I am one of the handful of Chicago area FReepers that held the Rally For America right there at the Fed Plaza on March 22, 2003. We drew close to 5000. It was quite an event. I’ll see if I can find a archived thread.
