It is a liberal sickness to hate this country. I took my wife to the Patriots/Cowboys game ( Go Pats ) for her birthday last week. During the National Anthem there were several hispanic youths seated behind us who were talking during the playing. They were cursing in spanish and yelling at the field. About half way through I stopped singing, turned around and said loudly, “this is not a damn quinceanera so shutup!” I was so po’ed it would not have taken much for me to escalate and get dragged out by the police but the youths took the cue to go and get some more beer. They did a lot of cheering in my ear until the middle of the 3rd. They left at the start of the 4th.
I got a small round of applause after the song was over.
BTW I am not a Billy Ray Cyrus fan but he did a bang up job on the National Anthem that day.
