She is very selective about which historical facts she uses.

The show is over, sorry. I started watching about an hour ago and thought it would go on for at least one more hour.

Naomi is worried that the tasering of that member of Kerry's audience, Andrew Meyer, is an indication that we are descending into a dictatorship.

Naomi Wolf - ah yes, the lady who advised Al Gore for about two weeks during his presidential run - hope the rest of her resume is less dismal.....

Pure moonbat. A few quotes from her latest, “The End of America”:
- From “Chapter Eight — Target Key Individuals”: “Professor Ward Churchill...wrote an essay that argued metaphorically that many of the 9/11 victims were not ‘innocent’...In June 2006, Professor Churchill...was accused of ‘academic misconduct’. His lawyer says the real reason is his political speech.” (no mention whatsoever of “little Eichmanns” or his plagarism)
- From “Chapter Nine — Restrict the Press”: “When it became clear that the [CBS “fake but accurate” TANG] documents were fake, a powerful Republican group — Creative Response Concepts, the same group that led the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth to attack John Kerry’s campaign in 2004 — led an aggressive right-wing media and blogger push against Rather...” (excuse me? has anybody here even heard of “Creative Response Concepts”?)

Thanks for supplying the examples from her writing.
A channel surfer might think she should be taken seriously, because, physically speaking, she looked so "pulled together" on the program. Mentally speaking, she was a wreck.

Thank you for mentioning her connection with Al Gore's run for the presidency.
I'd forgotten about that. I realized that I know little about her other than what I learned while watching C-Span last night.
I just checked the Wikipedia article about her. It's apparent that some folks think she lacks skills in scholarship.
This is a woman who graduated from Yale magna cum laude, is a Rhodes scholar, and cannot write a coherent paragraph. This is a woman who cannot do historical analysis, and she is a Rhodes scholar?.... Naomi Wolf is an intelligent woman. She has been ill-served by her education. ... She has a case to make. She cannot make it. She's full of paranoid fantasies about the world. Her education was completely removed from reality.

She has a yapper that just won't stop. Didn't she advise Altoast2000 to go LARGE on Rolling Stone? You know - earth tones...
Yep, she knows best...

I heard her tell a story again on cspan a few years ago about an incident with a college professor of hers. It was very disturbing to her and set her on the path to becoming a feminist. It goes something like this if I remember correctly.. She was at a faculty/student cocktail party with her lit prof and he invited her back to his place to read some of his poetry. She agreed. When they got to his place he made a pass at her. She turned him down and he relented. She was so mortified that she vomited. Seriously. She is unstable.
