Gleen Beck had Pastor John Hagee on his show last night. They discussed the end times. I think this was one of the best interviews I have seen in a long time. It was very interesting. Did anyone see it? Here is the transscript

Well, I subscribe to the theory that no man knows, I don’t think Yeshua knows the exact date and time yet. Only the Father. So, I just wanna be prepared.

Yes .... you can see prophecy unfolding every day in the headlines ... just as the Bible says ... . Some are spiritually disconcerned and love the world more ... too bad there is no eternal life on earth no matter how many “miracle” drugs they come up with for youth or longevity ... no one is late for a physical death ... hope mine is the experience of the rapture.

I agree with most of Reverend Hagee’s literal-historical approach to eschatology. However Hagee has one huge problem. He believes that those who are Jewish and do not accept Christ as their Savior are still saved. This is why he is such good friends with powerful Jewish believers. I love the Jewish people and strongly support Israel but the scriptures are clear that the only way to God is thru the Son.

There are many Torah-observant Jews who look for their Jewish Messiah.

They just dont know that His Name is Yah'shua ( YHvH is become my salvation )

I know as a fact most call on YHvH for their salvation ( Yah'shua ).

You are in error my friend. The scriptures you quote are not the rapture but he second coming. I will show you: you have to back up to verse 37. But as in the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38: For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, 39: And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also be the coming of the Son of man be. Then verse 40 as you mentioned.

Look closely, the bad people were taken away not the good. In the rapture the good are to be snatched up. So many people get these verses wrong including many pastors. There are other scripture, however, that does speak of the rapture.

Look at the US right now. We are marginalizing ourselves. Those for freedom in Iran, would fight against the mullahs now, but how are they to trust the US of being of any service when we spend most of our time fighting each other rather than being united as a force to be reckoned with?

Look at the blatant anti semitism you see now in America and other Western countries? It is amazing.

I myself, think this is why we bear no mention. We may not go against Israel, but we will not be of any service to them either. A nation of spiritless moderates.

I respect your opinion but in my belief, your thought process hear is not fitting into the rest of the prophecy and scripture, because you have the tribulation that occurs next. Why would God remove all the bad people and leave the good behind to suffer the tribulation?

You miss my point. God does not care about volume BUT I DO. This is a mute discussion as we each react to what we like to hear. It’s called freedom. To each his own.

I believe that Yah'shua who is now at the right hand of the Father, knows the date.

The date of Shavuot ( Pentecost ) is fifty days
after the day after the Shabbat following Pesach
which is fifteen days after the new moon
following the ripening of the Barley in Israel.

It is a date that no one knows until it comes.

But you know when it is at the door.

In the movie the passion, I believe Christ was referred to as Yeshua. I see Yeshua as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Do the Torah observers to the same?

I would rather listen to Pastor Hagee preach than any other person on television. He’s a great Pastor. Having said that I really part ways with him on his eschatology. But then, I’m not sure I buy anyone’s take on end times, other than the most obvious outlines. I don’t flat out reject anything either, I just stick it in my back pocket and see how it fits in with new ideas that come down the pike. I’m always sceptical of headline chasers. Headline Eschatology is like the M&M’s of theology, it’s entertaining and tastes good but there is no nutritional value at all.

You could be right. Yeshua is at the right hand of God now and he might know that. But I don’t think He knew the exact time until he sat down there.
