Look closely, the bad people were taken away not the good. In the rapture the good are to be snatched up. So many people get these verses wrong including many pastors I respect your opinion but in my belief, your thought process hear is not fitting into the rest of the prophecy and scripture, because you have the tribulation that occurs next. Why would God remove all the bad people and leave the good behind to suffer the tribulation?

You have completely missed the point here. I will repeat, this is the second coming. The bad are removed and only the good will remain on Earth for everlasting life. This is after the rapture. In the rapture the good are caught up into the air to meet the Lord. In the second coming the good will remain on earth as the bad are removed.
Now back up and read the whole chapter. The Lord makes it clear that he is talking about the second coming. You can't just take a verse out of content.(like the Media does all the time)LOL
