Slash-and-burn columnist Ann Coulter shocked a cable TV talk-show audience Monday when she declared that Jews need to be "perfected" by becoming Christians, and that America would be better off if everyone were Christian.
Coulter made the remarkable statements during an often heated appearance to promote her new book on advertising guru Danny Deutsch's CNBC show "The Big Idea."
In response to a question from Deutsch asking Coulter if "it would be better if we were all Christian," the controversial columnist responded: "Yes."
"We should all be Christian?" Deutsch repeated.
"Yes," Coulter responded, asking Deutsch, who is Jewish, if he would like to "come to church with me."
Deutsch, pressing Coulter further, asked, "We should just throw Judaism away and we should all be Christians?" She responded: "Yeah."
Coulter deflected Deutsch's assertion that her comments were anti-Semitic, matter-of-factly telling the show's obviously upset host, "That is what Christians consider themselves: perfected Jews."

I read the transcript and it didn’t help. I think she sounded kind of wacky. Quoting John would have been so much better than that ‘fast track Fedex’ stuff, IMHO.
Thanks SJ. Based on the full transcript that you posted it is even worse than what I thought. Anne Coulter is going to be finished after this, sorry to say this to all the Coulter fans on FR. You (Coulter fans) have been warned before about her but you did not want to listen and you still do not want to listen. I am sure that you (Coulter fans) will still defend her, but she is gone.
For those fanbois and grrrlz out there who haven’t yet figured it out, this should be proof positive that Tom Petty in drag jumped the shark long ago, and is now completely insane. The only church Ann belongs to is the Church of Ann Coulter.
She’s an embarrassment to the GOP and christians everywhere. Ugh.

The Republican party has become one big gray area because of lacking the juevos to align themselves with the truth. Republicans have become so afraid of offending the left, that we’ve practically become them in some areas..We need more people like Ann who has more guts than many Republican senators.

Actually, it would, but the problem is that it's impossible to keep every commandment. The convenant of the law has not gone away - it is the very covenant by which Christ demonstrated his righteousness. However, other than Christ, there has never been and will never be a single person who is able to keep the commandments. One breach = eternity in hell. Therefore, we all need Christ.
And she wants certain people to be a little less circumcised! (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)

No. But for a Jew to become Christian, they must ackowledge Christ as the Messiah and that he is risen again.
