I have this theory that, in general, liberals are poor athletes and utterly clueless about competitive sports. From Kerry praising “Manny Ortiz” and announcing the baseball score like it was a tennis match (”Tigers 2, Red Sox 3”), and Kathleen Kennedy Townsend talking about how she cheered when the Ravens “made a football”, I have wondered about a correlation between athleticism and mental illness.

Even when I roll through in my mind all the goofiest liberals I ever knew, I realize that none of them had any interest at all in sports, and all of them were either awkward or flat-out uncoordinated.

No joke.

Wish I had the time, patience, and resources to conduct a full study....

My email exchange with Ibrahim Hooper on 10/23/2007 regarding the coming retrial of the Holyland Foundation (I have reversed the order for readability and one word has been edited):

All threats will be reported to the FBI.

Subject: Threats and intimidation

Oooooooohhhhhh! You scare the sh!t out of me.

Actually, I scare the sh!t out of you. Only an idiot would interpret Yogi Berra's famous quote, applied to the forthcoming retrial of the Holyland Foundation, as a threat.

But, then again, that's what the 5th columnists at CAIR do -- threaten and intimidate -- that's their job. It is no surprise, therefore, that the members of CAIR are burdened by the psychological condition known as projection.

So you go right ahead and forward my email to the FBI -- it will be promptly filed in the circular file and if you idiots send enough of them -- CAIR will be exposed as the laughing stock and anti-American and anti-democratic nuisance that it is.

By the way, how are you idiots making out with your John Doe barattry? The courts are treating your lawsuits with the contempt they deserve.

Beckwith . . .

PS ~ I will be watching CAIR's future attempts to intimidate and threaten American citizens and I will follow your example and report them to the FBI.

CAIR is ratcheting up to do a “silent” protest tonight? This would be a first. Didn’t know that they could keep their mouths shut. Between the Communists and the Islamists it should be a hot time at USC! Is anyone countering?

It was free to attend, so I don’t know if it is called SOLD OUT.

I thought I was going, but didn’t know you had to register.
Been busy and did not follow this all that closely, guess I am NOT going though I am on that campus today anyway.

Go! Go anyway! At least you can lend a hand to counter protest the moonbats! You might be able to get registered now. Did you try? You took the time to reply to me (thank you), when you could register. Go get ‘em! Support Ann & free speech!

Wish I could go, but my knees are screaming. If I was escorted and knew the area I might be enticed, but as it stands now, can’t do it.

REPORT:

I was in an overflow room with TVs. Standing room only.

Outside there were maybe 22 kids of which 8 were loud and saying “Down with Coulter, Stop the war”.
There were 5 times that many standing in the overflow area listening to Ann.
I did see people while going in that made sure they were interviewing the very FEW protesters.

The event was excellent.
Everyone was well behaved.
All were VERY receptive to what Ann said and applauded along with standing ovations at times.

I think there was only one leftist that questioned Ann the whole night.

As far as what she talked about???

You or I could have given her speech and known what she would say being familiar with her views.

People getting fat in Guantanamo.
Liberals being on the side of trying to lose all wars.
Killing Jews not being able under Janet Reno to be prosecuted as a Federal hate crime.
Prosecute traitors and so forth!

She looked healthy, had a cute black dress with black see through mesh on the sides.
Her hair looked great and flowed as she spoke from the stage.
She was comfortable and receptive.

Believe I spotted at least 5 FReepers in the overflow audience. I hung out in the balcony on a chair and chilled while enjoying it.

SECURITY was in force and on the job.

That was it!

See 52.

It was a nice event.
People were great.

I had one pale liberal journalism student ask me who the blond woman everyone enjoyed and were applauding was.
When I told her Ann Coulter, she looked like someone urinated all over her “I’m a Communist” membership card.

From what I saw at USC outside, there were hardly any liberals protesting.
I also saw EVERY ONE of the hand full were interviewed by the press.
I saw the Press also taking a picture after the event was over. Only when it was over did the 8 loud protesters start to make protests.
WEAK from the liberal protester side.
You could see how hard the press was trying to prop the poor anti-war “yoots” up!

I know the tiny handful of "yoots" will make news and papers, but you could get more action around a lemonade stand on my block IMO. The press and liberal protesters are mutually enabling and are weak. Biggest con job going around IMO.

PS, she started 15 minutes late and some of the overflow audience were complaining.

Maybe some had late classes and wanted to catch some of her speech first, I don’t know.

I arrived late and was unable to get into the event, so I watched the protesters. The demonstration—rather tepid by Vietnam War-era standards—seemed to be dominated by LA Answer and the Revolutionary Communist Party, a Maoist faction. I also met a group of College Republicans who had come from UC Santa Barbara, 100 miles to the west, just to see Ann Coulter.

Guess that journalism student missed the class that covered “make sure you know what is going on”.

Wonder where CAIR was and the rest of the Lefty Hoard?

Fun post, Ron!
