Oakland Airport Outrage (Marines not allowed in the terminal)
FOXNews.com ^ | October 01, 2007 | John Gibson

"On September 27, 204 Marines and soldiers who were returning from Iraq were not allowed into the passenger terminal at Oakland International Airport. Instead they had to deplane about 400 yards away from the terminal where the extra baggage trailers were located."

This was not a security measure. After going through super-tight security, checking for contraband, ammunition and explosives in Kuwait, the soldiers and Marines had been allowed in the terminal building in Germany and at JFK in New York. But on the far-left coast they were quarantined from civilians.

I was deployed 3x while in the Marines, and each time we used a civilian contracted airline.

Once - landing in Honolulu - we sat on the aircraft parked away fromt the terminal. We did not disembark.

Another time, we sat in Alaska - and we got off the plane, but in a closed section of the airport.

I really don’t think the Marines thought anything of it.

Besides, if the Marines had gotten off - they would have been spit on by the progressive socialist liberal democrats who live in the city. If that had happened, no telling the response of the Marines.

So, basically -the way I see it - it was a measure of safety to protect the public in San Fransisco from angry Marines who would have reacted to being spit upon by progressive socialist liberal extreme left-wing moonbat democrats.

“Not entirely true.”

I wouldn’t expect anything of that sort to be a hundred percent true with no exceptions, but I think it’s true enough.

You make a good point.

But maybe a good ol' fashioned Marine arse whoopin is what that area needs.

There’s a prophecy out there that’s been said that this area is going to have a huge quake. San Fran....is the target...kinda like Sodom and Gomorrah...

It's probably the decision of conservative administrators at the Oakland Airport who don't want the Marines to be spat upon marching through the terminal.

Agreed!

Maybe upon landing they should have told em that REAL terrorist had taken over the airport and they had to Search and Destroy, or was it Sweep and Clear, or maybe Hearts and Minds. Oh I don’t know, just go do that voodoo you do so well!

LOL

And on the other hand, our Troops do not fight for the right to be spit upon.

Treat our Troops with some respect or take an arse whoopin!

Now don’t think for one minuite that I defend this filth from the bay area, but as any vet here knows once you are issued a rifle it stays with you all the time. They take the bolts out of them but they carry their weapons on commercial flights too. This may have had something to do with it.

What really bothers me about going to that area is having to eat in one of those restaurants where some perverted guy or gal bringing me my food may enjoy anal sex and be infected with Hepatitis A.

Thanks. I’m thankful everyday that I believe the Lord will let me know when to get the family the heck out of the bay area.

But Gibson states the following:

This was not a security measure. After going through super-tight security, checking for contraband, ammunition and explosives in Kuwait, the soldiers and Marines had been allowed in the terminal building in Germany and at JFK in New York. But on the far-left coast they were quarantined from civilians.

I didn't hear about JFK quarantining our Marines.

I mean, what is the matter with quarantining the stinkin hippy liberal freaks instead?
