Tonight at Daily Kos, the new mainstream voice of the Democratic Party, theyve found a new angle from which to attack General Petraeus: Hey, MoveOn! Petraeus Wore Fraud Medal At Testimony.
Examining General Petraeuss medals, his official bios and then comparing three reports of events on 3/30/2003 in Najaf, Iraq - two by prize-winning embedded journalists and one understood to be by Army personnel (which document this diarist will produce to a responsible party at any time) - this diarist cannot conclude other than that General David Petraeus wore a medal for combat valor in his testimony before Congress that was a sham, propaganda and a dishonor to his troops and nation.
I will be extremely surprised if there is anything to these charges, but its not my area of expertise, so LGF military lizardsplease weigh in.
What do any of those tratirous military hating pukes at kos know about the medals any military man wears. They fabricate lies and try to pass them off as truth. They sicken me to no end.
if he were to do that, i would love to see it.
A good conduct medal is issued to practically all military personnel. It’s the equivalent of a certificate of appreciation for doing nothing more than your job. Everybody has one unless you are the ultimate looser. It takes up space and is basically meaningless. If he doesn’t wear one I understand why. I got one for finishing basic training and AIT. Trust me. They’re meaningless unless you don’t have any metals at all at which time you sport it with pride.
Can Petraeus sue him?
Who cares you liberal MSM lover. I am in the Navy and I know the story. I lived it! Did you????
Or both.
And don’t mention the fact Kerry’s metals may as well come out of a crakerjack box for all they meant to him.....
General Petraeus-FOUR STAR General
Kerry - served FOUR months
nuff said.
They were true.
He shot himself in the chest, as I recall.
KAOS - Evil organization bent on world wide domination on the spy comedy GET SMART/NBC/1965-70. KAOS agent Omar Shurok described his employers as "the international organization of evil formed in 1904 in Bucharest, designed to foment unrest and revolution throughout the world." Agent Maxwell Smart, a spy from the good-guys at CONTROL, claimed KAOS was founded in 1957 as "a monstrous organization of evil dedicated to the destruction of the Free World and the systematic subjugation of every man, woman, and child on this planet." - Good Fit! lol
Conrad Siegfried (KAOS code name "Ludwig")
Incorrect. As pointed out earlier, commissioned officers do not receive good conduct medals.
Everybody has one unless you are the ultimate looser.(sic)
Even if you're a loser, you usually have to avoid NJP in order to merit one.
I got one for finishing basic training and AIT.
Depending on when you served, how many years did it take you to complete basic and AIT? The usual qualifying period of service for a GCM is three years.
Theyre meaningless unless you dont have any metals(sic) at all at which time you sport it with pride.
The significance of GCMs and good spelling are lost on individuals who possess mediocre standards.
Anybody who would stand within three stalls of this fruit in a public restroom needs a commendation for bravery.
He shot himself in the chest
You are CORRECT, the Admiral did shoot himself in the chest. Thanks for the correction.
Wholly irrelevant, if true, and I seriously doubt that a mental eunuch apologist like yourself has ever read the findings of the BCNR. I'd wager that your knowledge of the truth wouldn't amount to a drop into your dixie cup.
The fact is that not only was Boorda a piss poor CNO he is also the only one responsible for putting a bullet into his chest despite the plaintive wail of fools like you seeking scapegoats for his actions.
BTW folks, he was able to legalize himself faster via a service in the military stint.
THIS is the type of scum the Dream Act would bring to this country.
The BSM can be awarded for meritorious service in combat environment, or for heroism in combat. The V device signifies the latter.
The Kos Kid writing the article claims to get the V device you need to be under direct fire, which apparently the 101st HQ was under twice during the invasion.
So the Kos Kid is saying Petraeus got a BSM for heroism, when he should have gotten a BSM for meritorious service.
Without reading the General's award citation, I cannot comment.
Regarding the Combat Action Badge, it can be awarded to any soldier, regardless of rank. The Combat Infantry Badge can only be awarded to Colonels and below.
What a freak.
