I have never had peach pie we do not have it in Britain we tend to have apricot but I have never seen or tasted a peach pie.
Most excellent (AND BIG ) job tonight Eleanor.. Thank you!
and if I do say so myself Portugal’s Prime Minister Jose Sócrates - is quite the “hottie”.. not that we here at the Dose really notice those things
Thanks for the dose tonight...another great thread.
Can you believe it ... Barry Manilow?? He must really be desperate for publicity.... jeesh.
Love the picture of the day! Thank you, snugs.
Thanks DollyC! Mom was walkin’ at 3 weeks, climbin’ stairs at 4 weeks and drivin’ at 5 weeks. She JUST told me she even took the garbage bin out by herself, today. THAT’s down a bit of an incline, too. She said she was really careful. I said she better be, because at 92 lbs she’d go right down the hill with it, if she weren’t!
Yep, I posted on another thread about how stupid he was to alienate all those that are his “target market” for CD sales. WHAT an idiot! Hubby just told me he’s going to take over for Celine D in Vegas, too. Now WHO does he suppose is going to buy tickets to see his show?? RIGHT US
Gotta get the kids ready for bed...nite all!
They are excellent, but the fruit is more fragile than most others that you make pies with. Similar to apricot but the taste is really different. My family has a liking for pies.
The tart you made not long ago, what kind of fruit did it have? I don’t remember if you said. I might be able to email a picture to you tomorrow...
Yes we have peaches mainly imported from Spain you can grow them in Britain but we really do not get the weather for them and they tend to be very small and pale and would not be suitable for commerical sale.
I love peaches also nectarines.
I love peach melba which is basically peaches, vanilla ice cream and melba sauce which is a sort peach sauce or syrup
My pleasure
Glad you liked the toaster and great news about your mom must be a weight off your mind as well.
It had tinned peaches in it but not cooked ones.
I will have to look out a recipe for peach pie made with fresh peaches and give it a try.
Well time I turned in - night all
