Wow! They censored Sally Field! (Sally Field anti-war Emmy acceptance speech cut off)
L. A. Times ^ | September 16, 2007 | Tom O'Neil

"If mothers ruled the world, there wouldn't be any god -" Emmy winner Sally Field said before the Emmycast cut her off her sound and pointed the camera away from the stage so viewers would be distracted. Cut off were the words "g-d d--ned wars in the first place."

"This belongs to all the mothers of the world - may they be seen and valued," she added when she won best actress in a drama series for her work as matriarch Nora Walker on "Brothers & Sisters."

flabby arms though....you’d think Doctor Ray could fix that

The Doc can patch the sagging, broken, and worn body, but the brain will remains broken....

BTW---All a real fool needs is a microphone, and 60 seconds....

I really liked Shirley McClain in her younger years, before she developed politics, and before I knew that she was so demon-infested they had to timeshare. Sigh.

She needs to be sent hundreds of pictures like that, with her own quote attached.

Yes, Sister Moonbat that is true. It as true as saying, “If the world were run by cats there would be no mice.” Her statement is a classic example of empty headed liberal shiite.

Oh, now... if Mom's ran the world, there'd be no more wars, huh?

Not too likely. Ms. Field has probably never heard the old saying about getting between a Mama bear and her cub. To draw a little from old Bill Shakes, Hell hath no fury like a mother protecting her young.

These Hollywood types are really useless.

Hey... and wasn't it the much sought after "Security Mom" demographic that helped secure W's second term?

Sally Fields has always been an America Hater. She played an out and out union commie in Norma Rae. Why should this be any different?

Was this before or after Steven Colbert's ripping of Al Gore and the entire left leaning establishment?

Perhaps she was still upset? :-)

I had to turn the channel. I was tired of them bashing Bush, Alberto Gonzales, and even Senator Craig (whom they all would have loved and supported, had he been a Dem).

Yeah, really. I mean, there’s been a constant never-ending gold mine of material from the rodents, and you’ll never seen a public lampooning. Great stuff like stuffing freezers full of cash, running bordellos out of basements, raping campaign workers, sodomizing 17-year old boys, choking little Black children, glory-hole Governors (creepier than anything Craig did), and let’s not forget shaking down nuns for cash (they gave that one an Emmy last night). Frankly, Hollyweird is as far from normal America as if we’re the Sun, and they’re Pluto... and the rift keeps getting wider. They’re like an alien species.

There are more evil women than there are evil men.

Of course there are more good women than there are good men, too.

It has to do with them being the majority of people.

I enjoy rambling, incoherent liberal diatribes more than I should...

I heard that the biggest laugh of the night came when someone wasn't available to pick up the Emmy for best comedic actor in a series, and the host announced that Steve Carrell, who was also nominated, came up and accepted the Emmy. Then they all shared a group hug.

I love, "The Office." I guess the new season is kicking off with four hour-long episodes. Can't wait.

If I am not mistaken she made a film called, Not Without my Daughter, illustration what life is like for women and children under Islamic ruled countries.

I guess it must be alright for other daughters to be subjected to that kind of life.
