Japan has been a good ally, Mr. Abe had threatened to resign unless the National Diet, Japan’s legislative body, agreed to continue Japanese operations in support of US troops.
No surprise the msm article left this out. It would go against the usual talking points about how all the worlds leaders are against us.

I predict we’ll see a New York Slimes editorial praising Japan’s Diet for turning tail against terrorists.

This is not good news.
Now Japan will begin to side with China in its establishment of a Pacific hegemony.
Too bad.
Japan had a hope of freedom after WWII, but its people have decided NOT to be willing to fight for it.So freedom is not a valued commodity in Japan, and the West has failed. The Japanese people have elected a liberal coalition, a fearful bunch driven by the vagueries of Hiroshima, unwilling to step into the modern world fully with," Peace at ANY Cost," as their sell oout slogan.

umm, no. The PM resigned due to massive corruption of his cabinet and a pension scandal. This is also the reason the opposition party won the recent election.

There are many countries in the West who fight less for ‘freedom’ than Japan.
