We've received many requests from freepers requesting that other freepers not post to them. There are several problems with this.
1. It's impossible for us to enforce.
2. We don't have the time to enforce these requests.
3. We don't have the software to keep track of these requests.
4. Thick skin helps.
5. Ignore the poster, if you don't reply, they won't reply.
Free Republic does not need a bozo filter, bozo filters are for wimps.
Final note: Trolls, troublemakers, disruptors, forum pests, malcontents, RINOs, liberals, stalkers, et al, would continue posting to (harassing) someone after being asked to stop. Conservative FReepers would not.

Not really. I just go to work at 7 AM, have lunch at 11 AM, and go home at 4 PM. I miss the worst of the commute traffic that way, am a little closer on schedule to most of my colleagues (who are mostly East-coast), and overlap one hour of the workday with my future boss in Germany.
I never do anything normally. *\;-)

Time zones are just a materialist obfuscation, anyway.
If we ever get a break in this awful weather, I plan to have my family up before dawn, so we can have breakfast and prayers over in time to run as soon as the school buses have gone by!

Colorful, though. Strange that they used the rainbow motif for this one.

Very interesting! Is that Iceland near the top, that they’ve put in Greenwich Mean, even though it’s geographically at the far side of Mean-1?

Hi, Kids!
Sorry I’m late, but I had some rearranging to do in here.

Must be.
What a morning -- seemed like everything tried to go wrong. Booked my flights a bit after 7, but the confirmation didn't arrive until almost 4 hours later (usually it's about a half-hour).
Had a letter to be printed onto letterhead and the copier kept jamming.
Tried to call the archbishop about visiting Thursday, because I've some down time and I'll be only two miles away, but nobody is in the office...

Notice that Iran, and Afghanistan, which straddle meridians, have split the difference and are different from everyone else by half an hour. (Figures)
Something weird about Fiji, too. It seems they flip the calendar for the International Date Line before the clock strikes twelve. That has to raise an eyebrow or two.
The Flying Castle uses white and purple. (0, -8, and +8)
The International Date Line for the Flying Castle is, “Hi! Are you with the U.N. delegation?”

Not only that, one of the countries on the northern part of South America is 45 or 50 minutes off the hour.
I don't think Fiji crosses the dateline but there are two places that do just what you noted: some island owned by NZ, and (I think) Anadyr, Russia.

They were pungent onions. The recipe said they should be added at the end and not cooked, but I didn’t think anyone would eat it if I didn’t cook them!
