“Do not post to me”

We've received many requests from freepers requesting that other freepers not post to them. There are several problems with this.
1. It's impossible for us to enforce.
2. We don't have the time to enforce these requests.
3. We don't have the software to keep track of these requests.
4. Thick skin helps.
5. Ignore the poster, if you don't reply, they won't reply.
Free Republic does not need a bozo filter, bozo filters are for wimps.
Final note: Trolls, troublemakers, disruptors, forum pests, malcontents, RINOs, liberals, stalkers, et al, would continue posting to (harassing) someone after being asked to stop. Conservative FReepers would not.

You guys still want to build that sea-level canal across Nicaragua?
With that kind of hardware, there would be a canal instead of Nicaragua.

Well, yes, his pipe got very hot. Very fast.
But it wasn’t hot very long .... On the other hand, his pipe got a lot longer faster than it got a lot wider.

I'm saving that for the creative spurt that will occur once I reach posthumous status. Dang. I was hoping to get a signed copy of the 21st century take on Huckleberry Finn. You could sign it "Mark Thrice."

But it wasnt hot very long .... Of course not. That's why the Irish long-stemmed clay was so nice -- the smoke was cool by the time it reached the smoker. With short-stemmed pipes you could "feel the burn", so to speak.

Good to see you visiting, Robert!
"But it wasnt hot very long ..."
Actually, I'm working on that, but it brings up another problem: Only one clothing style accommodates a state of permanent priapism.

I was hoping to get a signed copy of the 21st century take on Huckleberry Finn. You could sign it "Mark Thrice." If you think I can do a better job than the original, you need to buy me an infinite number of typing monkeys and a lot of typewriters and typing paper.

If you think I can do a better job than the original, you need to buy me an infinite number of typing monkeys and a lot of typewriters and typing paper. Better? I was thinking "updated." A derivative work no doubt, but I've seen many an entertaining derivative and some as enduring as the original.
I can't afford monkeys (and their upkeep), much less typewriter maintenance and dead trees. How about I ship you a computer with a random word generator?

I’m saving that for the creative spurt that will occur once I reach posthumongous status. Sionn pulled out too quick to get this, so he’ll have to weight a while to see what develops from your first (creative) spurt.
(Xena is pulling for taxchick to come in second...)

"X. can have it; Im not pregnant, for the first time in living memory." Negotiatiators will have to contact NicknamedSue, who has an exclusive contract.
(Trust me, her terms are diabolically demanding.)

Well, undead.
Just finished my assignments for today -- booked my flight to SF Thursday. And it's not even 8 AM. *\;-|
