LONDON (Reuters) - The smallest dinosaur could reach speeds of nearly 40 mph (64 kph) and even the lumbering Tyrannosaurus rex would have been able to outrun most modern-day sportsmen, according to research published on Wednesday.

The kneeling stranger stands up and replies, "I don't have to be faster than the Velociraptor. I only have to be faster than you."
(joke adapted for the article in case you don't get the joke and start saying humans didn't/don't exist with dinosaurs)
“humans didn’t/don’t exist with dinosaurs”
Ever see Jurassic Park? (kidding)
My favorite scene in JP... T-Rex is chasing the jeep... character looks in mirror and sees only the T-Rex, and printed on the mirror is “objects are closer than they appear”.
Yeah that scene in JP was a hoot. It gave me a good laugh to see that wording on the mirror and the T-rex right behind them.
I enjoyed this scene:
HAMMOND
This is just a delay, that’s all this is. All major theme parks have had delays. When they opened Disneyland in 1956, nothing worked, nothing.
ELLIE
John....
MALCOLM
But, John. But if the Pirates of the Caribbean breaks down, the pirates don’t eat the tourists.
I love that scene as well. The icing on the cake, the last words in that scene as the T-Rex turns around is when Malcom says “Think they’ll have that on the tour?”
Reminds me of a scene in Jerassic Park where Jeff Goldbloom and company just outrun a T-rex in a jeep......
Do the Brits have any other sports stars besides Beckham?
Slightly foolish to place all your interest in a guy who won’t even play for the home nation.
Is there an four legged land animal that can swim faster then a human?
