I'll never forget that day. Looking up into the sky wondering is that plane going to land or veer into a building? How family, friends, neighbors were calling one another to account for each loved one. How stunned we were. It all comes back.
Thank you soldier/heros now in harm's way for fighting a war against these satanic lunatics.

The one thing that touched me is that for the first week or so after 9-11, the politzei all displayed the American flag in their van windows. For the rest of the time we were there, both the German cops and the German military were very protective of Americans. Of course, that didn’t stop the communists or the hateful ex-patriate americans from doing their “protest” thing.
Without a doubt, the very WORST people I met in Europe were the americans (small “a” is on purpose) who were living over there because they just HATED America. 9-11 meant nothing to them and to a man, they felt we “deserved” it.

Well, we're still faced with a lack of a reason for controlled demolition in that the building was already ready to collapse without it, according to the reports. I'll have to go with Occam's Razor on this one.
Except for the possiblitiy that they wanted to 'footprint' the building. But as you infer, time constraints wouldn't allow it. But as luck would have it, the way the building collapsed was as effective as a controlled demolition anyway, wouldn't you say?

The other thing that really stands out that I think about often is remembering “some people” in this country didn’t want images of this shown because it was “Too Soon”???????? This was when I really started looking at our elected leaders with disdain.
