Duncan Hunter's Iowa Straw Poll speech.
Ah, you couldnt even say which RINO you are supporting. lolUnlike you, obviously, I will be supporting whomever win the GOP primary against Hillary, unconditionally.
btw, are you depressed? I would imagine with all the naysaying you might be a depressed person. Why would I be?
NOPE. McCain is done; he got less votes than Hunter. You're like a stubborn child who refuses to go to his room.
Yes I’ve read your post or I wouldn’t be responding to them...
I guess one can find many reasons to support failure so choose your list. The fact is Hunter didn’t do well for whatever reason. Now either he’s a candidate to win or a part time candidate.
As I pointed out he could have spent a few thousand dollars and bought more votes than he got assuming there were people who would actually vote for him. If he wasn’t in the event to win then he should have stayed out totally and not placed himself in the position of competing half heartedly.
>>>>Id be thrilled to be proven wrong.
I’ll prove you wrong right now. You were talking about RasterMaster and me. Now, go through everyone of our posts on FR since our sign up dates and paste here where we have EVER threatened to stay home.
Go on. You made this statement and challenged to be proven wrong. Back it up.
Again, (sigh) does no one read my posts? We read your posts. But no one is buying your weak excuses for why Hunter crashed and burned in Iowa.
I never claimed to be “undecided”, I merely said I’m not fully committed this early. People like you who are fully committed find yourselves out on a limb without a candidate pretty soon. For me, my candidate(s) of choice may never materialize in the race. Or if one does, he may not hold up. So I keep my options open and I don’t attack the other viable candidates in the race. I understand that such a thing can only harm the eventual nominee and the party.
I think youre on to something. And I think you're on something.
And I’ve seen more unappeasable Hunterites on this forum threatening to stay home if this candidate or that candidate wins (usually Rudy or Fred) over the past few weeks than I’d care to recall. It’s almost like it’s the mating call of the unappeasable. Are you trying to tell me I imagined all of that?
Also won't be casting my vote based on fear of Clintons....CONSERVATISM wins every time.

My vote isnt for sale.Yeah, we know.
Back it up. Changing your reference doesn't prove you are right. That is flip flopping.
That’s not an answer to the question at hand: being that Duncan Hunter is clearly not going to be the Republican nominee, are you going to come out and support whoever the Republican nominee is on election day, whomever that may be, or are you going to stay home or vote 3rd party, which is in practice the same thing as supporting Hillary?
You haven’t proved me wrong about yourself until you affirmatively answer the same question I asked above.
You would think counterpunch would post on the DU if he’s supporting Hillary.
Go figure.
Notice the tagline....the dope is holding out for Cindy She-man to get into the race!
To: Calpernia; RasterMaster
My vote isnt for sale.Yeah, we know.
And you also said:
I just call em as I see em. Every election we have them, theyve even got a name - the unappeasables. And every election they threaten to stay home, and this cycle they seem to have coalesced around Duncan Hunter. Id be thrilled to be proven wrong.... in REFERENCE to the comment you made about RasterMaster and me.
Back it up or shut up.
Since you don’t have a candidate in the race, by sitting on the sidelines, you are “in practice” a Hillary supporter.
OK, now let’s hear you admit that Hunter either won or came in the top 3 of other straw polls, and beat Romney when he was outspent at least 2 - 1.
Why are you just focusing on the straw poll where Hunter didn’t have time to campaign, because he was working on Iraq issues to protect our national defense?
And hey, speaking of Romney, did you see this one of many Romney flip flops?
“Mitt changes tax-cut tune

After refusing to endorse President Bushs tax cuts when he was governor, Mitt Romney has now made them a central part of his presidential campaign, stirring accusations that he is changing his position to appeal to GOP primary voters.”

HANG ON TO YOUR WALLET. On 2nd thought, you won’t have to, because Romney will soon fizzle out.
At the rate he’s paying his “volunteers”, he may have to mortgage the mansion!
Fred’s staying home, why can’t we? You’re full of it and making this all up out of whole cloth. I haven’t seen these threats to “stay home” nor do I think if a Hunter supporter actually said it, they really meant it. If they said and meant it, it’s their business. That’s the reality of politics. We all blow off a little steam and what I am hearing from Hunter supporters is they are tired of liars and pretenders and are concerned about the future of this country.
I think it very telling that you equate the expectation that a candidate exhibit some knowledge of the issues and “walk the walk” with “unappeasable”.
That link you gave me about Romney spending so much is EXCELLENT, and it shows that his efforts to project a fake image backfired on him.
