Underscoring how gay politics have changed since then, the leading Democratic candidates appeared Thursday night at a forum sponsored by gay activists and a gay-oriented television network.

Clinton accepted the endorsement, saying she shares "an optimism and confidence" with Newsom to tackle issues of global warming, homelessness, health care and energy independence. "It's great to have an ally," she added.

Newsom made the endorsement as he stood with Clinton on the roof of the California Academy of Sciences under construction in Golden Gate Park...

Like whatever this guy does really makes any difference? He’s as much a joke as Hillary is. If Hillary is the best that the Democratic Party has to run for President, I would guess the party is just about dead.

No surprise here. I didn’t expect anything less from the queer capital of the US.

Elected officials make up 1/6 of the Democrat delegates as so-called “Super Delegates” meaning that Hillary has a lead going into this.

Obama is such a ploy. Without massive proportional support, well over 60 percent, the rest of the delegates won’t be there to enable him to win.

The Obama show is a put on. Hillary has the inside edge with the “Super Delegates.”
