This morning only a couple of minutes before 5am, I was surfing around when I came upon Fox News. Bill O'Reilly was closing out his show with him reading off a few viewers emails and him giving a small response to each one. One of them defended FreeRepublic, saying that doing a search, Daily Kos had thousands of certain cuss words, and FR had none. O'Reilly's response to that was: "FreeRepublic Needs A Monitor. It Has None." (And then he moved on to another email)
"..Alan Novak, Wichita, KS: "Comparing the Free Republic to the Daily Kos, I searched the F-word. Daily Kos, almost seven thousand mentions. Free Republic, none.""
You have FReepmail. :)
Lazy, arrogant and unrepentant.
He has never spent any time on this site. What he knows about Free Republic is what his staff told him. What he knows about anything is what his staff tells him. O’Reilly is as out of touch with conservatives and average Americans as are the Hollywood elite.
FR needs clarity, not a monitor.
I am a big fan of moms in PJs, they certainly tend to calm me down

Northern Yankee said: LOL... I can never quite figure out where OReilly is coming from.
Wherever Neilsen tells him to come from.
They ~are~ hate speech, at least when I mak'em, and I mak'em all the time.
I ~hate~ the bloody buggers (lawyers) and I insist -- not withstanding their assaults on the constitution -- that my hate speech is protected by the 1st Amendment (which is guaranteed by the 2nd).
O’Reilly is too over the top with hubris. In many ways he’s quite naive (self-taught).
Lets keep it simple.
We don’t like O’Reilly, he doesn’t like us.
So what.
Yes. O’Reilly is stating false inofrmation. This site is heavily moderated. B.O is just another carnie reading lines on a teleprompter - ZERO cred.
I beg to differ.
Sorry Bill, maybe you ought to try the loofah again. :P
He says it all the time.
I knew we had a Monitor. Are you full time:)
ROFLOL!
Bill O'Reilly needs a fact checker. He obviously has none.
The reason I stopped watching O'Reilly long ago is that he seldom, if ever, gives people the opportunity to explain.
IMHO, he along with the obvious mental case at PMSNBC (Matthews) are among the least informative people on TV because they never stop talking long enough to allow you to hear what the guests have to say.
And actually, between that and the email he read, I think it was his way of trying to ease up on FreeRepublic.com.
Otherwise, could it be that O'Reilly is an alien walking among us?
