Phoenix Two helicopters collided in midair and crashed while covering a police pursuit in central Phoenix Friday afternoon, killing at least two people. Both helicopters were news choppers from local television stations.

I don’t think so. Felony murder law.
A part of him would like to see him charged for their deaths.
OTOH, the helicopters did not have to be following the police doing their jobs.
A part of him = A part of ME
duh
Agreed. It seems that more and more reporters become the news, or make it, or even worse fabricate it.
Like roaches, one is often too many...
Suspect in custody; name not yet being released.
so.....any bets?
Oh my god...the irony of people complaining about the chases are the same ones turning on the stations to watch the crash. The hypocrisy is deeeeeep on the forum right now. Sad story and there is never a reason to film car chases...but hey that is what people want...right? Drama
When/where did this image originate?
I dont’ see it at breitbart.com now.
Is that a body falling above the one chopper?
I don't think so. For felony murder, the death has to be a reasonably forseeable result of the felony committed. In this case, two news helicopters colliding as a result of the perp's actions would not be reasonably foreseeable. If a cop or other person had died in a car crash as a result of the chase that would present a much better felony murder case.
Oh! Hello! :-)
What a waste!
It's a a vengeful Indian spirit that was invented by B movie filmmaker Ray Dennis Steckler. :-)
Felony murder law? How come they were quoting manslaughter earlier.
It was on AZretarded...they generally go after people linking their images, including FR.
The suspect didnt cause the deaths...the pilots did.

A bit large for that, I's say part of the tail the angle up to the rotor makes it look like feet.
Odd how we're programed to see faces and people, even where they aren't.
Lots more open road in the west.
OK, thanks
Plus a lawyer can bring the intent of the law, which will be shown to have been written by people getting hit by suspect vehicles or pursuing vehicles...not aviation accidents.
