"Anti-Immigration Law Passed in Virginia - 07/12/2007 by Diario Reporter Isabel Conde
Effecting Mexican and Other Undocumented Workers
Washington/EFE -
The approval in Prince William County (Virginia) of a local resolution that hardens measures against the illegal immigrants and denies access to them to community services has caused "deep dissapointment" in the Hispanic community. The resolution, approved Tuesday unanimously after to have undergone a pair of changes of last hour, authorizes and demands "civil employees, agencies and personnel" of the county to verify the immigration status of any person on whom a reasonable suspicion that exists she is an undocumented immigrant. Initially this exigency to "any person of the county" had extended but before the pressure of the groups pro immigrants and the Police of the county they were possibly ended up changing the terms in the definitive version of the resolution. "it does not concern the way in which it appears writing, one is a directed resolution mainly the Hispanic community and of character clearly anti Latin", said Kent Willis, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Virginia. "Now it is to wait for to ` sessions of work` that the county has said that it will organize in near 60 days in which all the details will be specified", Willis explained.
ACLU is not the unique one that has shown their opposition. "the decree has shown to a total lack of understanding of the community immigrant in a as diverse county as Prince Williams", said to Efe Flavia Jiménez, analyst of policy and immigration of the National Council of La Raza (NCLR). Like them, the Chief of Police of Prince William County, Charlie T. Deane, has made his opposition to the measurement public, that, said, will have "important unexpected consequences which the county will have to face in the coming years". Some of these consequences could include an ascent of taxes and, even, an increase of the rates of criminality between the immigrants who no longer will be arranged to collaborate with the Police. On the other hand, the president of the Commission Corey Stewart, Governing body, defended his position and alleged that the resolution only tries to solve to the problems of "overpopulation in houses and schools, and to deport those undocumented people who are violent and dangerous"."
A liberal court will doubtlessly make up some grounds for this to be “unconstitutional”.
Well, they may have “deep dissapointment” (sic), but I’m “clearly elated”! ;’}
FOTFLOL!
I’ll bet that they are all really peeeeeesssed
But then again, so is OUR side!
And nationwide--as we have shown--we surpass them in sheer size, by at least 10 Orders of Magnitude on our side no doubt. They may try but they will eventually lose this battle. The tide has turned.
Central and Latin American countries...need to help it’s own citizens....These countries are using America like a nursing Mother...when she dries up...what then...it appears she’s drying up fast...actually all the demostrations that took place throughout America especially when the mexicans were carrying the Mexican Flag....hurt the illegals big time...it takes time for this to show up but it’s shown up....it outraged Americans. The advisors of these groups screwed up big time....LOL...
BTTT
It was humorous overnight to see the Catholic bishops and their other leaders panic and try to get the word out to knock off the foreign flags thingy.
But the cat was out of the bag and too many people had already seen it and made up their minds that illegal immigrants in the streets en-mass was not something they welcomed.
Music to my ears!!
Thanks nicmarlo. I can sense this thread TAKING OFF!! :-)
Not only would that be good, but if other communities could "take off" their shackles of illegals, they'd be in compliance with Federal law, rather than committing felonious acts of aiding and abetting illegals in their communities, to the detriment of those communities, at LEGAL citizens' expense and SAFETY:
Federal Law--Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii)
A person (including a group of persons, business, organization, or local government) commits a federal felony when she or he: assists an illegal alien she/he should reasonably know is illegally in the U.S. or who lacks employment authorization, by transporting, sheltering, or assisting him or her to obtain employment, or encourages that illegal alien to remain in the U.S. by referring him or her to an employer or by acting as employer or agent for an employer in any way, or knowingly assists illegal aliens due to personal convictions.
Section 1324a: Any person who knowingly hires/harbors/transports any illegal alien is guilty of a felony punishable by 10 years jail + $2000 fine per illegal alien + forfeiture of the vehicle or property used to commit the crime.
An employer has constructive knowledge that an employee is an illegal unauthorized worker if a reasonable person would infer it from the facts.(10) Constructive knowledge constituting a violation of federal law has been found where (1) the I-9 employment eligibility form has not been properly completed, including supporting documentation, (2) the employer has learned from other individuals, media reports, or any source of information available to the employer, that the alien is unauthorized to work, or (3) the employer acts with reckless disregard for the legal consequences of permitting a third party to provide or introduce an illegal alien into the employers work force.(11) Knowledge cannot be inferred solely on the basis of an individuals accent or foreign appearance. Actual specific knowledge is not required. For example, a newspaper article stating that ballrooms depend on an illegal alien workforce of dance hostesses was held by the courts to be a reasonable ground for suspicion that unlawful conduct had occurred.(12)(10)8 CFR 274a.1(l).
(11)8 CFR 274a.1(l)(1).
(12)Seven Star Inc. v. U.S., 933 F. 2d 791 (9th Cir., 1991).
A person is guilty of criminal solicitation in the second degree when, with intent that another person engage in conduct constituting a class A felony, he solicits, requests, commands, importunes or otherwise attempts to cause such other person to engage in such conduct.
Criminal solicitation in the second degree is a class D felony.

(d) Immigration-related entrepreneurship fraud - Any individual who knowingly establishes a commercial enterprise for the purpose of evading any provision of the immigration laws shall be imprisoned for not more than 5 years, fined in accordance with title 18, or both.
No surprise here.
Looters and other thiefs are always disappointed when they can't freely make off with the wealth and valuables of others.
Another corrupt cop that thinks his job is to run the place, they need to fire him.
We need to Babelfish that right back from ENGLISH into SPANISH!!!! Thanks!!
The title they came up with is a lie—it’s anti-illegal immigration.
There are close to 3,000 counties in the United States. I would guess at least 60% of them would be willing or toying with the idea about enacting such kind of legislation in their own communities.
Yes, let us spread this, far and wide. Through FR and elsewhere.
pay attention to the words here folks..this is how the right got sandbagged before the last election....”anti-immigration” readily couples to “bigot”. It is anti-ILLEGAL immigration....and the media will knock the snot out of the right by cleverly ignoring the ILLEGAL part of this and making it into class and race struggle....the Marxist “thesis-anti-thesis” at work!
