Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
The last time the nation convinced itself character didn't count we elected Bill Clinton twice.
“Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”
None of us is sinless and I’m not casting stones. I’m also not saying he’s a bad man and that he should resign or be destroyed by this. However, we live in a day when the private lives of politicians are more scrutinized than ever before. Particularly in this post Clinton, and since he is from Louisiana, post Bob Livingston era, I’m just wondering what could have gone through the mind of a conservative Republican senator, with four small children and a wife, that would lead him to make such a seemingly poor decision.
I don’t want stones. I just want him out of office.
That's an outrageous, chickens--t response to this situation. The man has four young kids, for God's sake. He's a scumbag, pure and simple. Being a sinner doesn't mean that we condemn others for their offenses, particularly when they are more serious than one's own.
We need to stop accepting this type of conduct, or all you're going to get is more. Any wonder why we read that oral sex has become all the rage amongst younger teens? Thank you, Bill Clinton. We need to roll this back, not accept it or excuse it. Period.
Vitter should resign.
Ahhhh....the Clinton defense.
Out of context...though. That scripture doesn't/didn't mean we are not to point out sin.
Tah!
“Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”
...And Nancy Pelosi winds up for the pitch (having beat out Hitlery, Schumer and Teddy the Swimmer for the coveted position)!
