Wallace repeating something that Fox news mentioned yesterday, i.e., that Iraq is the "incubator" for training people how to make "vehicle borne IEDs." This connection is nonsense since car bombs have been used repeatedly since blowing up the Marine barracks in Lebanon in 1983. Car bombs have been used in Israel, the UK, the first WTC bombing in 1993, the OKC bombing, and the bombing of our embassies in 1998 in East Africa, just to name a few before we ever went into Iraq.
I find this use of words and the description of Iraq as an "incubator" to be despicable.

After watching and listening to our Senate the last couple of weeks, I had a thought. Is there any way we can demand mandatory, random drug and alcohol testing of this gang and their allies in the House? I mean, lets face it, these people dont seem to live in the same reality that we do. Back when Tony Snow had a radio show, his old producer once posted on the Free Republic thread that there is something in DC's water that melt Democrat's brains and Republican's spines.

True but you have to be able to get your guy on these shows first. I would rather see our guys in venues where they will get a fair shake instead of a predisposed rat/media where outcomes are already decided.

there is not a monolithic Hispanic vote Monolithic demographies are a tool of convenience used by politicians and media types to seek to separate us in order to avoid doing any real work. Is also another way to stereotype.

Leahy says Fred Fielding spent time in the Nixon White House.
Nixon is getting lots of mentions this morning.

It is obscene yet almost an obsession. The corporatist wing of the GOP wants a long, drawn out process. They think they can outlast the grassroots conservative opposition against their fair-haired boys such as Rudy and McCain - just as they thought that resurrecting shamnesty would outlast us as well.
They thunk wrong. And now we smell blood in the water.

Michael Gallagher, conservative talk radio host; He's on my local talker and I can't stand him.
I did catch the tail end of his Friday show. He had Ann Coulter on. I had earlier heard him blast her over the dust up with the Wife of the Breck Girl.
Evidently, he let Ann on to set the record straight and was properly chastened. (I may be off somewhat, but this is what I gathered from the snips I heard.)
I have also been told that Gallagher was in FAVOR of returning Elian Gonzalez to Cuba,

I wonder if one of the reasons that these dem ‘leaders’ in congress are so frustrated at their lack of “progress” is that they do not know how to deal with people who tell the truth, cannot be caught by ‘gotchas’ or in shady behavior.
Senior dem congressmen dreamed for years about what they would do when they regained their chairmanships, and their dreams remain unfulfilled to date.

Leahy says they had RNC email accounts on which they discussed how they were going to manipulate these prosecutors around the country and then they told us they were erased.
How does he know what is in emails he hasn’t seen. This is disgraceful.
This is the most disgraceful appearance by any member of Congress I have ever seen.

What worries me equally is the funding of wahhabbi schools by the saudis and the thousands of young muzzie minds now being polluted/brainwashed with hate, that’s a bigger fear for me.

Chertoff says they have ended catch-and-release.
IIRC, they have ended catch-and-release only for OTMs [Other Than Mexicans]. C&R still exists for Mexican illegals.
I have noticed that newsies don’t ask Chertoff or the WH about such nuancing and parsing.
Senator Reid said on the floor of the Senate during the previous amnesty bill attempt that “only 5% of the illegals” are apprehended/detained. Reid said that only 2 months ago.
Other reports have said 4,000-5,000 are still entering illegally every day/night.

We thought our last campaign in the UK was a long one when it was approximately 6 weeks I cannot imagine a year and a half. It helps the professional fund raisers and campaign strategy people stay employed. And we the people allow this to continue, just like we let the illegal alien problem go until we are knee deep in illegals.
