I wonder if one of the reasons that these dem ‘leaders’ in congress are so frustrated at their lack of “progress” is that they do not know how to deal with people who tell the truth, cannot be caught by ‘gotchas’ or in shady behavior.
Senior dem congressmen dreamed for years about what they would do when they regained their chairmanships, and their dreams remain unfulfilled to date.

I think it is more of a plaintive wail to the voters that they (the rats) need more seats in order to overcome the ‘evil,’ obstructionist republicans. Think victimology!
